Been working for the past five years right after graduating. This upcoming financial crisis might hit hard though. =(

Mfw Ireland gets another bad recession and this time it’s not even our fault and the IMF isn’t coming to our rescue

How cringe is his Twitter?

Good lord I can't stand to watch that guy after discovering his Twitter.

He is also a litteral cuckold BTW. His girlfriend does porn.
well, just lewd pictures, right

i know people recently turned on idubbbz for this, but i honestly don't see how that makes you a cuck (or why it matters)

People turned on Idubbbz mostly because he used to make fun of and do videos relating to the topic of sex workers. All of a sudden it’s no longer funny to him now that his girlfriend is doing it. He pretty much did what he would’ve made a video on someone for 2 or 3 years ago so fans are upset at him for that.

Some of them just have engaging stories that happen to be in a different language. There’s no show I’ve been able to find that’s similar to Evangelion in mainstream media. I just wish that the dubs didn’t suck so much ass so I could watch it without having to read subtitles.

One thing I just remembered about a Switch Port, what are the implications of MP3 in it? Considering MP3 was pretty much a demo in all aspects for the capabilities of motion control, there’s quite a few gimmicks in it that make me wonder how Retro would manage to change it to Switch controls.

Dude, what happened to you?

Trust me you do not want to know

Yes, I do.

Has he not slept for five nights?

I didn't sleep for six nights during benzo withdrawal and I was psychotic by the end of it. He should probably go to a hospital.

Well for one, he goes by Carmen now and is perpetually on a cocktail of hormones and drugs. In fact, he even sucked off a hobo underneath a bridge for some (actually true or at least canon in Class lore). His attention seeking behavior has gotten so bad that he is now the leader of a safe space discord server full of emotionally damaged people and even 13 year olds. He plugs the server every now and then to milk some drama from it. He recently started posting videos of himself in a hotel room that's looks like found footage videos. Oh he also has thing of using children shows characters as personas which is really creepy.

Overall, he's a desperate attention hungry whore basically

You should make a wiki page for Class lore, it gets so expansive I forget details like the discord hugbox arc

although neat if true, i personally have no use for this—i'm perfectly content with the originals, and i actually need to get back to playing prime 1 (i'm liking it, but it doesn't really grab me the same way super metroid does, hence why it's on hold)

i do have at least one friend who's been waiting for this trilogy to drop on switch, though, so i hope it's real for his sake

I enjoy the original versions and the trilogy versions in different ways. The originals are great because of the GameCube control scheme, difficulty and sequence breaks in almost every room like Super Metroid although some criticism I can lobby towards it is some of the poorly designed fights for the GameCube controls.

The trilogy version is good because it’s a visual overhaul that helped the first 2 fall more in line with how MP3 worked and the motion control scheme is probably the definitive way to play all 3 despite me preferring the GC control scheme. The trilogy version runs smoother, has great controls, some nice bonus content like the Fusion Suit and has replay ability in the way of credits to spend on OSTs and concept art which I thought was a smart way to lengthen the game.

The Switch remaster is something I want primarily because it’ll be similar to the GC control scheme while running at a very smooth frame rate with much more beautiful environments and updated sound bites (as much as I love the games, a lot of the sounds don’t really hold up well, the power beam sounds rough as hell). There’s also the possibility of Echoes finally getting online multiplayer compatibility given the multiplayer component is there although it was local only when it was first released. Still though, local multiplayer using the joycons wouldn’t be the worst either.

Prime 1 imo is the weakest instalment in the trilogy, while most put corruption on the bottom of the 3 I think it’s deserving of second place but it doesn’t come close to Echoes. Prime 1 has way too much backtracking, scarce and uninteresting bosses that last WAY too long aside from the final boss (fucking 20 minute fight with one of the bosses on the highest difficulty because his RNG likes to go for the one unpunishable move 90% of the time) practically 0 difficulty aside from the segment to power bomb (which is a fucking landslide in difficulty holy shit) and an annoying as balls scavenger hunt. Echoes suffers from the scavenger hunt problem as well but as soon as you acquire the dark visor you can literally acquire over half of them and they’re easy to find because you can find their outline in the normal dimension.

So it’s looking increasingly likely we’re going to see a Switch remaster of Metroid Prime Trilogy coming within the next few months but a Swedish retailer has listed it for next month. It’s more than likely it’ll be a full remaster (beefing up the graphics to match the capabilities of the switch + 60 FPS).

I’m personally really looking forward to it as I grew up with these games and I would love to see how Echoes will look with better graphics as I think it’s the game that can benefit the most from a makeover.

When I broke my leg and as a result lost a chance to play for Leinster (my province) in rugby

Wow that's heavy
Was it a big platform to be seen on or something?

Yeah, rugby is fairly big in my country and I was on the development team about a year away from becoming an under 20s team at the time. I broke my leg in one of the matches which meant I was out for the rest of the season and obviously that ended it completely.  It could’ve been a career if I made it to the under 20s

The porch day novelty wore off when Bnext launched.

Now you have people that made accounts in 2019 celebrating it like their own.

I mean look at this shit, this fucking kid probably wasn’t even born when Porch Day happened

« on: May 23, 2020, 12:12:46 PM »
I don’t care about sex work personally, because if I said it was wrong or not legitimate work I’d be a hypocrite because of porn and shit.

As for your case it can go one of two ways if you do it, you make an easy $300 and that’s that.

Or you make it and get $300 and potentially run into someone creepy as fuck or really doesn’t like you who digs up your history and uses it to harass you, the internet is full of weird fucks so the chance isn’t low.

I know it sounds like a 50 year old soccer mom telling you to be careful what you post on the internet but there are messed up people out there

Can’t say I’m surprised at Smash being given the boot given its balancing issues with a lot of the characters and the horrific netcode.

Seriously, I don’t think I’ve ever played a fighting game with consistently worse connections every time I play. I get more enjoyment out of fighting max level CPUs than I do fighting someone who can warp around the screen and knock my bar up to 100% in 10 seconds because of an overpowered character combo

This is coming from the perspective of someone who has never played a Metal Gear game in his life so bear with me in case this game is an actual masterpiece and I was unaware.

I found it while looking through my PS Library (presumably it was free one of the months) and recognised that I definitely had not played it. So I ask before I commit the hard drive space, what did you think of it if you played it?

where did someone give me a solution

I didnt ignore anything

Here’s a few quotes which have a solution(s) and also criticism that can (or should’ve) been taken on board if you really cared about “making it work”. I’m not adding my own in but I’ve said to get help and such (because you’re mentally unstable and it shows, I don’t even mean it as an insult) as well to no response:

Quote
Quote from Ian:

You're doing the exact fucking opposite.

Get a stable job and pay for your own expenses, including your living situation. Clean yourself up, don't do fucking drugs, maybe go back to school, anything other than what you've been doing for God knows how long. I know this is going to sound incredibly meme-like, but have you thought about maybe going into a religion? Maybe God (or whoever you pick) might be the one thing that finally pulls you out of this spiral of degeneracy and give you a sense of purpose since hedonism doesn't seem to be doing the trick.

Quote from Busta Nut:

Here's your pathetic reply.

Perhaps try not involving yourself in scum of the earth activities, and maybe people would like you more.

A criticism from Busta Nut you should take on board and apply to yourself:

In this one moment I actually vaguely remember when I liked your posts. Kinda sad how literally any discussion you might want to bring aside from attention whoring is just more attention whoring from another website. I mean honestly, what the fuck are you doing here? What is the point of this shit? It's SO FUCKING OBVIOUSLY made for replies and for someone to satisfy your need for them.

Why the fuck do you expect anyone to respect you when you value yourself so little? Sucking a homeless guy off for drugs? Selling your body for a place to stay? What do you even want people to think of you bud, because you OBVIOUSLY care when you’re continuously bitching about why people are so mean to you.

Quote from ಠ_ಠ

You've always openly admitted to being an attention whore though. And you deliberately lie about yourself constantly, so how could you possibly want people who understand you?

You’re narcissistic and have an ego, hell you even think you have a cult of personality around you.

The first quote is literally the guy telling you how to get your life together, you ignored it. If you cared about “making it work” you would change your behaviour according to these guys who have been around for your bullshit much longer than I have. No one on this forum is going to change for you, if you want to make it work, you change for the forum. It’s as simple as that dude, blatantly ignoring advice and criticism isn’t going to get you anywhere

Don’t take this as an attack on you, try and learn from it instead of putting your fingers in your ear and complaining about how you don’t understand why people hate you and won’t help you.

The end of S3 is pretty much setting up to be an entirely different show, but not in a bad way. You can only go so far with the mystery of the titans and the world outside the walls, I think they did a great job explaining the world as of the discovery in the basement in a way that makes sense for the story.

I’m looking forward to S4 a lot.

On one hand it’s funny to watch this unfold, on the other its disturbing to watch unfold. Considering any time you post I like to make fun of you I’m going to be serious for once.

Take it to DMs, no one and I mean no one is looking at this shit and thinking “what a normal and functioning member of society”, you’re having a breakdown over getting banned from Discord. If you’re gonna lose your shit and act like someone who needs to be strapped into a straightjacket, at least go into DMs or PM the guy on discord. And don’t say you don’t care what people think you look like at this current moment, you do care and you know you do.

I'm not disappointed in anyone

I'm disappointed in myself

Why did you pick him though? You could’ve made an entirely new and original account and even if you felt like it had to be a pre existing person you could’ve just used a guy who hasn’t been on the site in years so at least you know they wouldn’t have been around to see it.

I’m seeing a very messed up fixation on verbatim from you, for the love of god get help please it’s not even funny anymore

this is the only community where i've ever heard anything about 40K, and it's always been hugely popular on bnet

always found that kind of odd (not like i don't see the crossover appeal, or anything, but still)

Popular on bnet a few years ago maybe, nowadays it’s just 15 year olds, gimmicks and some guy that faked his death

Bringing up 40k now would guaranteed just get people commenting “is this a new rp setting???? :))))”

tbh I'm not really sure what the question is
how would you cope with being an unwilling sex slave if your life depended on it
thanks for clarifying

just move forward?

I was in this exact situation like two years ago. I saved like a grand, packed my shit, and left while nobody was watching.

I try not to think about it, and I don't think it really gives me any trouble.

Then again, that's not the worst thing that has ever happened to me by far, so I'm not sure how the average person would cope.
what's the worst thing
I don't know exactly, it's hard to actually quantify and grade negative experiences

maybe the first time I was molested as a kid, or some other example of abuse from my childhood

adulthood has been tough, and I've had nowhere to live and nothing to eat more than once, I've been to jail for things I did and did not do, though the only time it was something I actually did I was stealing food from the supermarket

the town I found myself living on the streets of after high school wasn't big, and they didn't have resources for feeding the homeless or shelters for those other than battered women, it still has a big homelessness problem today

my dad sued me for eviction when I was 18. I was still in high school. I posted about it on here five years ago, and that has definitely led to a life that was not easy to get off on the right foot in

that's actually how I found myself trading sex for a place to live

I've been robbed and taken advantage of loads of times, but I really think that whatever the absolute worst thing is, it has to have been in my childhood

as an adult, at least I have options for recourse and a complete understanding of what's going on

I’m sorry that so many shitty things have happened to you in your life dude, it was rough reading it let alone even imagining what it would be like to deal with it. It doesn’t mean shit because I’m a dude on the internet but you have my respect for dealing with all of that shit and still being around to talk about it.

On the other hand, go fuck yourself carmen

It’s from the same guys behind inFamous so that’s earned my purchase already, all 3 games were absolutely solid titles and I have little to no criticism of them.

Apparently they’ve taken great care in historical accuracy too and are implementing the same “your choices matter” feature as the inFamous games, really looking forward to it.
