What "cures" should transgender people be seeking, O Wise One?
By cure he means seeking mental help to solve their disorder rather than giving into it. He's basically saying instead of society accepting it we should discourage it so these people get mental help for this disorder.
they already get professional help for it oh wait it turns out it's easier to just let them transition then to use shock therapy and before you get all 'b-but that's not what they do at all!', i only compare your proposal to gay conversion because none of you folks ever suggest possible treatments. However there is almost a universal agreement on inversion of controls in games that feature flying vehicles, such as helicopters and planes, because in such situations the analog stick will simulate a flight stick. oh thank goodness i can literally not fly things that don't work like that, it feels like my hands are sewn on backwards when i do

she probably does have one, but it takes a lot of time and practice to get it right, especially when you've had the same adult voice for over half a century.
it's been months either cait's got something getting in the way or they have an awful therapist because it's not supposed to be THAT hard

MDD and trying to get diagnosed for gender dysphoria so I can get to HRT. Currently in an extremely frustrating position with my therapist who refuses to get much done between our month or more distances between appointments. Because of one off-comment my mother made during a session about me being very particular in childhood I now have to get assessed for ASD spectrum which bogs down the whole process even longer. Planned to finally visit my boyfriend for the first time (LDR) and my parents turned on their heels 4 days before I'd leave and say I couldn't go because they feared for my safety. Now I have nothing to lift me out of depressive moods for the next year or so.

Well for the first time in the history of our species we would have confirmation that there is intelligent life on other planets and might give us insight on our own origins.
Also the novelty of the discovery would be pretty big in itself I would imagine.
we already know how life came about on earth and just knowing aliens exist wouldn't tell us shit about any of that rofl
We have theories. As much as we think we know everything there is always a chance we're wrong.
I'm not disputing evolution but I think we could possibly learn a couple things.
