Okay, first off, the reason why we think about Muslims in terroristic attacks and violence drawn on religious beliefs is because we as Westerners don't bother to concern ourselves with contrary events in developing countries(I had one more planned for here but I can't find the post on reddit anymore, basically a Hindu mob beat a man to death for butchering a cow).

Space, because on the ocean you at least have a chance of rescue if shit goes wrong. In space, you best not fuck up.
but if you die in space then astronomers can look at your body for eons for fun

Personally, I liked the first games soundtrack better, and gameplay for that matter.

Water, but I think that's mostly form the fear of drowning since I can't swim.
when you mean cant swin do you mean like "if i was trapped in the middle of a lake i'd die" or do you mean "if I was trapped in the deep end of a pool i'd die"

i never really know but the latter just kind of baffles me, i mean isn't just the doggy paddle instinctive?
Both. Water is my weakness. I'm a Ground-type.
i dont want to be mean but that's just something i can't wrap my head around

Evolution is entirely based on stronger, better-adapted organisms killing weaker ones and forcing them to either adapt or become extinct. War is the macro-evolution of the human species.

Don't you hate the idea of leaching though?
yes

as long as i remain in a capitalist society, i can't win
Doesn't just providing simple services like cooking or cleaning seem noble enough though?

at what age do you suspect you'll become a strung-out homeless vagrant slurping rubbish off the streets after you realize that your welfare checks are wasting government potential to maintain your shell of an existence
never

because i don't do drugs or alcohol :^)

never had one

and i don't want one
at all

but i have to get one at some point anyway

fuck my life
it helps beat depression sometimes
sometimes when i've been off work for 4 days, I feel empty and awful
it would only exacerbate my depression

i HATE the very concept of working for money

I want to hear more discussion about Asian privilege. "Positive discrimination" is exactly what "privilege" is about, rofl.

I don't quite follow his talking point that America can't be a worse system than Europeans because the latter is comprised of more whites. Whites controlling American politics are distinctly different groups from whites controlling European politics, America could most certainly be a system that favors whites.

I find it odd that their universe thinks it's wrong for AI to have intelligence but it's OK to destroy an intelligent species by hindering their reproduction.
I think the counsel races really just care about sustaining their dominance. Geth are too efficient to not intimidate them and Krogan were getting too powerful too fast to not cause fright.

Not significant at all. We all know our own ability to ignore rational arguments when personal comfort is at stake. It's like yelling at people for driving cars to a meeting about global warming.

Remember that you people are the ones advocating the abolition of hunting on the basis that it harms animals, which I then asserted that it is a less painful demise than they would otherwise undergo.

Which you can't quantify. Sure, they may die more painfully, but that doesn't mean we get to fucking shoot them. A person born poor in Africa is probably going to die painfully, do I get to shoot them?

Quote
Hunting already serves other purposes as well, hunters make the state a shit load of money, hunting entertains people, hunting gets people some good meat

NONE of which make it okay. The Hunger Games entertained people, doesn't make them okay (fictional, I know. Proves my point.) People can be entertained by other means and can get meat in other ways (that aren't any more ethical). I don't give a shit if you're making tons of money off of the murder of animals, that's arguably even worse.

Quote
it helps stabilize the ecosystem
No it fucking doesn't. The ecosystem is artificially inflated to support these hunters.
Well I'm not so sure why you have issue on something that is such a net good.

1. Animals die less painful deaths, albeit, die during their prime rather than their age.
2. Hunters get meat and entertainment.
3. Regulation and tagging can prevent exhausting of environmental resources that effect not just the game population.

The difference between animals and humans in this description is that with animals there isn't the alternative of helping establish modern societies that the Africans can sustain for better healthy lives. Animals will continue to live in the cruel wild no matter what, and people who romanticize dying of hunger are unempathetic tards.

And I'm not sure what you're implying by saying the state inflates populations to support hunting, if the state was more concerned about profit rather than conservation, there wouldn't be tag limits.

And this is just deer. If you honestly think that a large beaver population is not an ecological problem that takes decades to undue (soil fertility and forest regrowth), please, never let yourself have a say in any political process pertaining to conservation.
