pandering to new members has always proven to both not work and suck ass, we had the same argument on bungle

I was also a fan of infusing titanite into shields for damage reduction bonuses.
Wait wut.
There were plenty of shields with 100% (phys) damage reduction in DS2 and you can get a few fairly early in the game.. and when you're fighting bosses, 99% damage reduction is 100x harder than 100% damage reduction if you're relying on blocking.
The game was never balanced around purely physical damage. There is still magic, lightning, bleed, poison, and now curse. And durability. And strike damage.
There's like 2 bosses in the game that don't rely almost entirely on physical damage, and they're both optional.
For all the other bosses magic etc is something they use to throw you off your stride and which you can easily dodge anyway.
>not playing pvp
Why use a shield at all in pvp when everyone uses no armor and giant clubs?
what pvp were you playing

Seriously.

Half the time it's either a dex weapon with the range of a football field or some cunt and their magic spam.

Or both.

From seriously dropped the ball on str weapons in souls II. They just aren't fucking viable in pvp at all. I don't use a shield for blocking at all unless somebody gains phantom range, but 90% of the time I use one for blocking spells.

Rebel's Greatshield is god teir with 93% resistance to every form of damage in the game, except for physical, which is 78%. It's a great all rounder emergency shield for every single damage type out there.
I ran a str/faith build with dual great clubs and all of that faith buff bullshit, it's a good one shot build

You can say, because we, as microcosms of the universe, create our own realities (i.e. art, ideas, perspectives), the clear purpose can be said to create, and from that it can be derived that we create our own respective meaning or purposes to exist.
Could not the same thing be said about literally anything we have in common with reality, like say, inevitably dying?

Alternatively, it also depresses me when I think about how exciting it must have been when you could just explore and find new countries and places on our planet before we discovered it all (inb4 oceans)
Okay cmon why do you exclude the very obvious example.

Imagine what Utah would be like if the Mormons could do whatever they wanted.
The place would go dark and it'd be the plot of some horror movie.

You know how you feel when you've been buying drugs a few times and you get that one guy that shorts you, and you know you can't really do shit about it because going to the courts ain't gunna happen, so you just kind of deal with it and don't use that guy ever again?

yeah it'd be like that

Well if he was captured and given back to the US you could kiss that sweet ass data goodbye and no one would know, which sort of defeats the purpose of getting the West hunting you.
Know what? What is it you people are so hellbent on knowing that you can't make an educated guess on? Why do you need detailed files of undercover agents revealed to the entire world (enemies included - WHOOPS) when you already know these operations are taking place?
I never even said which way I felt on it rofl. It's just anyone with a brain should be able to infer why he turned to Russia.

#checked #shret and #rekt

Assange is a pretty shitty guy who just releases documents to damage prominent western governments. Snowden is the guy that all whistleblowers should strive to be, and Obama needs to grant him clemency before his term is up.
Fuck Snowden. The guy "revealed" what I had been saying for years and if you found out the government was spying on you after Snowden told you're an idiot.

He's a traitor. He fled to Russia almost immediately holding a shit ton of info. How can you hate your government so much you'd prefer Russia (fucking Russia) knows its dirty secrets?

It's easier to warm up than it is to cool down. Cooler temperatures are better for equipment. Blah blah blah, shut the fuck up and dress appropriately.

leaks anything he can get his hands on,
But he didn't.

You're right, he only leaked 10% of his total theft, and it's pretty fucking shady that he sought refuge in China and Russia while holding the rest.
What you mean like the only two places that someone can feel confidently safe in? I'm sure that the Russians have pampered him, but that doesn't change the fact that him and his content would not be as safe elsewhere.
