.38 special only costs a few cents. Plus I'd rather my pet's death be a personal matter between me and them, not some foreign and sterile operating room.

New Decals for the fleet and a few updated SUV cruisers, there is still a county debate on what to do about expanding the jail capacity because doing so would require more staffing.

Lebanon was one I definitely remember. The plot wasn't really tangible and the movie was formless, but nearly all of it being in the tank made it a unique experience.

Gaming / Re: So is Dark Souls 3 being developed by the B-Team
« on: October 09, 2015, 03:54:58 PM »
Hopefully Dark Souls 3 won't be Buff Souls 3 though because buffs killed PvP in DS2, along with soul memory.
Not really it just added strategic depth, suddenly some weapons weren't objectively worse than others because they were arbitrarily given less stats, buff meta allows your choice of weapon to involve a lot more about the weapon's moveset.

People look at DS1 PvP with so much bias, poise was such a massive barrier to entry for builds that you only saw two or three builds.

but yeah soul memory is what the fuck tier design
Buffs made the weapon go to max damage, regardless of your build or how much you put into the said skill tree. It'd be fine if they were rare but everyone was using them because they were so easy to get.

It helped ruin builds and PvP.
It helped vary damage types and encourage putting thought into elemental resistances, and since it allowed a ton of weapons to finally see play, it ultimately fosters more build diversity so you're not playing against Giant Dads every invade. With the myriad of new weapons being played, it made you have to adapt and play around more weapon's skillsets, which ultimately makes PvP more thoughtful and meaningful rather than, "oh i stacked enough poise so now I win any trade regardless of playstyle or build"

You're literally forgetting how buffs made speed weapons king. Heavy weapons, short range weapons, lower ended weapons, they were all garbage and thrown out the window for speed.

Literally all I see anymore are fucking crystal magic buffed rapiers that ignore the concept of physical damage protection because it's a piercing weapon combined with magic which fucks armour up even more.

How about LOLpoise? Rapiers have the range of a football field and when buffed can stunlock full havels, ring of giants, and an iron flesh buffed character who has all three going for them.

Yeah, poise being broken allowed fun builds like fisti cuffs builds to actually be viable.

But fucking buffs destroyed any fun to be had when some dickwad does 3 pokes to you and you're dead.
The only reasons Rapiers are an issue are their retarded ghost range combined with the game's bad connectivity.

They aren't king. I played shirtless double giant clubs and maintained 50/50. It's just about seeing windows and not extending because hurr durr i have big weapon im invinsibleh

gtfo normie its a fucking hypothetical
Nigga you're the one saying that race mixing is bad because it blends cultures together.

That's literally how cultures develop and evolve - by blending.
i dont care about the cultures
i care about the GENETICS
Then that's even more stupid

Everyone used to be African.

The blending of genetic features is a unavoidable result of globalization and increasing levels of technology
Isolate groups long enough and they will become distinct from other races. The formation of the races we see today are a result of races not mixing, which I'd say all the colors and shapes humans can come in are pretty neato and cool to have around. I never said that it wasn't true that as we remove geographical barriers the races will start to blend, I'm just expressing my displeasure with that fact. And obviously this doesn't have bearing on other people's choices.

Personally, while I agree that diversity is neat, I don't think it's important enough to warrant any sort of regulation or too much care. If we somehow lose a race to mixing (I'm not even sure about your perspective that that's possible), I'm really not sure how much is lost, and I'd prefer racial diversity not be "forced" or anything like that.
Of course. Just in my ideal world most people would love people of the same race.
What would be the point of having diverse races if you weren't able to appreciate the diversity of those races or love those races?
Well I mean you can do that all day, it's just who you breed with.
And I'm not saying total exclusion either, it'd be nice to see some mixed couples too in the ideal distribution, just as long as the other distinct groups are sustained.
I guess this just kind of sprouts from the different reactions you'll get if you say "I think that person is nice but I have no interest in mating with them because I just prefer a different race sexually" and "I think that person is nice but I have no interest in mating with them because I want to ensure that there are at least some pure-blooded X race people in the future."

Hell even typing that felt racist, but it really shouldn't be because it's not "I want my kid to be white", because if I were any other race I'd want my kid to be that race.
Egg I think that I'd give anyone weird looks for saying any sentence that involves the phrase "interest in mating with them" unless I was talking to a geneticist
gtfo normie its a fucking hypothetical
