RDR2 is good but overrated and 76 is a hot steaming pile of trash.

Just being honest. Obviously get RD2 but don't expect it to be the second coming of Christ like everyone is making it out to be.

Personally I would wait until RD online comes out or it drops in price a bit.

Besides the essential artists that have already been mentioned?

A Tribe Called Quest
Brockhampton
Dr Octagon/Kool Keith
JPEGMAFIA (more glitch hop than anything but he's a sick lyricist)
Madlib
Run The Jewels (Didn't think RTJ 3 was that fire but RTJ 1/2 era is shit hot)
Kanye West (say what you want about the guy's personal life but 2018 has been his year and Life of Pablo/MBDTF are classic hip hop records)
Pusha T (another artist who absolutely owned 2018)
Wu Tang Clan

I would also give Danny Brown an honourable mention for his impact on the genre but I simply cannot tolerate his vocals for the life of me.

I like it but I'm finding the gameplay kinda grindy. I know this was expected of a Rockstar game but I can't really ignore the modicum of tediousness to bouncing between quests on horseback. Also, whoever came up with the "automatically unequip your weapons when leaving your horse" feature can suck a chode.

Story, characters and voice acting are all kino though.

I still play it for salt farming via light spam. It still has it's moments and breach can be relatively fun.

Too bad the devs base their updates on pure statistics (as in, which hero is shitstomping everyone else) rather than actually playing the game mechanics and listening to the fans.

Historically their communities tended to be isolated pockets that didn't really interact or integrate with other cultures or communities.

Plus when you couple that with the fact that on aggregate, Jewish people have been fairly financially succesful throughout the centuries, it's understandable (not excusable mind you) why people would react towards them with a kind of "us vs them" mentality.

I don't really 'connect' with his music tbh. I just enjoy his artistic concepts and the musical production he employs on most of his records.

You don't necessarily have to connect with an album or find out the conceptual meaning behind it in order to enjoy said record.

Skellige side quests constitute like a quarter of the game. My advice would be to go back before you progress any further, otherwise you're opting out a huge chunk of the game and will be pretty boring to go back to if you advance past the level bracket. There's a really kino political quest line where you decide who the new Skellige Jarl will be.

Typical polaks. Make shitty business decisions then cry foul when things don't turn out the way they wanted them to.

The marketing and timing for this is abysmal. Release date is a week before RD2 and besides the wacky trailer and a handful of beta clips I've barely seen much about this game. It's hardly a surprise that sales are down.

It's looking like another Hardline at this rate unless they pull something out of the bag at the last minute tbh.

I was hoping for a more neo noir aesthetic. Maybe that's just the Blade Runner fan in me.

Honestly looks more like Dredd rather than actual Cyberpunk.
Isn't Dredd still cyberpunk?
I'd say it's more of a hybrid of dystopia interlaced with post apocalyptic punk. There's a very specific tone to cyberpunk which I appreciate CDPR for attempting to emulate, but I don't think quite sticks the landing.

Hooray for censorship!
This guy is calling parents who lost their toddlers in a school shooting "actors". Is this really the hill you want to die on?
IDGAF. Nobody, not even ANTIFA, deserves to be deplatformed.
hahaha fucking liar
I don't even like Alex Jones. Doesn't mean I think he should be banned from every platform. Not going to bother arguing with you though.
Because you'll lose. Because you and I both know you'd be happy if The Young Turks got banned from YouTube. And that you'd come up with some bullshit alt right "logic" to try and rationalize it.
Except I wouldn't because you don't know fucking shit. I'm a Libertarian, not Alt-Right. I'm not even a fucking White Identitarian. Nobody deserves to be deplatformed. Not TYT, not InfoWars, not Varg, not Buzzfeed, not anybody. Fuck off.
Do you think action should be taken to rectify this then?
YouTube (And all other big tech sites for that matter) should be regulated as utilities and thus beholden to the US Constitution because Google is a US based firm and is currently the main platform for people to air their political grievances. Nobody should be kicked off unless they are doing something explicitly illegal.
So you're a libertarian, which is the political affiliation that's all about laissez-faire capitalism, minimal government and maximum economic freedom at its very core, that supports the extensive regulation of and government involvement in "all big tech sites"? That seems a bit contradictory. It also makes me wonder about the practical feasibility of any of that. The thing about tech companies offering services is that they can pretty easily change where they're located. No big tech company would want to be regulated and treated as a public utility so they'd simply move their headquarters to, say, Europe where existing hate speech laws would just give them more of a reason to continue removing this kind of content.
Oligarchy is hardly capitalism as hardly any competition is actually taking place. There is (currently) no competition in regards to social media because big tech's competitors are not yet big enough to be viable. I support and endorse them when I can, but they aren't at the point where they can realistically compete yet. Given how often big tech firms collude with one another I'd say they're probably violating some anti-trust laws anyway. Big tech is so big that if you get kicked off, then you effectively do not have the right exercise your freedom of speech. I'd love if we could solve the issue of online censorship through pure capitalism, but I fear that YouTube in particular has become too big for its own good and the government has to step in and explicitly make it beholden to the US Constitution.
None of this reads like you actually know what you're talking about.

Hooray for censorship!
He got removed from a handful of corporate social media sites because he's a sperg that peddles conspiratorial nonsense and insults victims of mass murders.

Funny how it's "business autonomy" when it suits /pol/acks, but censorship when it doesn't. Decide which it is.
"M-MUH POL!"
Fuck off and fuck you. Don't you dare fucking assume shit about me. You don't know goddamn shit. I stopped giving a shit about that dumpster fire of a board ages ago. I don't believe in censorship of any kind and never have. I never stopped being Libertarian just because I ironically spouted /pol/ memes at one point in time. I don't buy into the white supremacist autism and never truly have because it just leads to the same authoritarian collectivist bullshit that the far left is so fond of.
If you're libertarian then surely you should be happy about businesses exercising their right to expel someone they don't want on their platform.

You can't (presumably) champion the free market then turn around and cry censorship when said free market inconveniences you.

Like I said, choose your side of the fence and stick to it.
