So many variables that could have gone awry but didn't because the plot demanded it.walt became truly irredeemable and a total monster in that episode you dumb sack of shitand just because i'm at a point where i can correct you: Pedestrian level writing tbh. 308

Yeah in retrospect this show really isn't as good as I thought it was.
But it did at least conclude satisfactorily. 309

Hey guys, it's me Keanu Reeves. I changed my mind about working with CD Projekt Red. Please cancel all your Cyberpunk 2077 preorders and put that money into Fallout 76 so you can play the new Battle Royale game mode which is actually the sequel to John Wick's adventures in Fortnite!

Okay, a petition is turbo autism but to suggest that fan criticism and disappointment equates to disrespect is a tad melodramatic. 313

Daily reminder that Chernobyl is the kino show of 2019 and you should all be spending time watching it instead of discussing this utter tripe that just disgraced our TV screens.

Okay at first I was kinda mildly disappointed but the more I mull this over the more I legitimately think this is perhaps the most affronting episode in the entire show.
Spoiler >literal first chapter of the book has the Others set up as the foreboding antagonists of the story. Not necessarily malevolent, but definitely dangerous. Like a force of nature. They had their own culture, language etc. The show dropping that complexity was fine, as it was established in the first season they were evil, but I thought at the very least they would be kept as the primary adversaries. Nope. Entire culmination of 8 seasons obliterated by memery. Having Arya kill the NK was complete fan service pandering. Her character arc has absolutely no connection to the WW, so to have her do a OMAE WA MOU SHINDEIRU moment contradicts the series themes of grounded, gritty fantasy. The fuck was the point in Dany's vision from season 2? The fuck was the point of resurrecting Jon? If you're going to throw out the entire foundations of the universe for pathetic fan servicing then at at least do it with a character that has a fucking thematic connection with the villain. Bran warging into Oathkeeper and decapitating the NK is a more satisfying conclusion to the WW arc than the shit we got. Also whoever edited the lighting this episode needs fucking sacked. That was some AVP Requiem shit. 321

The buzz around this is pretty fucking obnoxious I must say. Although seeing Pierce Morgan's gammon face erupt into a fit of rage on live television is always amusing.
It's a corporate organisation trying to sell you razors. Don't like the ad don't buy the product. I doubt they actually give a fuck about this issue any more than they do their profit margins. 327

Who else want to unashamedly steal fantanos opinions
10. Iridescence - Brockhampton ![]() Probably their weakest project they've come out with yet but by no means is this a bad album. Kicks off to a good start with tracks like New Orleans and Thug Life but ultimately gets bogged down with inconsistencies and tracks like Something About Him and Tape, then picks itself up again into a fantastic conclusion with San Marcos. 9. TA13OO - Denzel Curry ![]() Great trap album with a myriad of talented guest artists like JPEGMAFIA and JID. If you're sick of the wannabe Migos artists in the trap game this is a record that bucks that trend. 8. ye - Kanye West ![]() Memery aside, Kanye pretty much owned it this year in spite of his public spazzes. ye might not be MBDTF or Life of Pablo tier but it definitely reminds us that Kanye still has a musical presence that isn't going away any time soon. 7. You Won't Get What You Want - Daughters ![]() друг 6. MGMT - Little Dark Age ![]() Never thought I'd see the day were MGMT made my top 10 let alone a favourite album list. Incredibly solid electro pop album that knows what it needs to be and doesn't try to overexert itself with pretentiousness of their previous records. 5. Joy as an Act of Resistance - Idles ![]() Sonically astounding punk album with tasty riffs, raw vocals and a theme that would make Verb cum in his pants. 4. Veteran - JPEGMAFIA ![]() DAAAMN PEGGY 3. 2012 - 2017 - Against All Logic ![]() Probably one of the greatest house records of the decade. Nicholas Jaar proving once again to be one of the most underrated artists in the genre. 2. Oxnard - Anderson Paak ![]() Anderson Paak dropped one hell of a Soul Rap album this year, with features like Pusha T, Q Tip and Kendrick Lamar accentuating the glossy funk production even further. 1. KIDS SEE GHOSTS - KIDS SEE GHOSTS ![]() FREEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE Kid Cudi and Kanye flexing us all with probably the greatest musical comeback of the year, somehow managing to gel psychedelia, grunge and pop rap into a short but sweet 22 minute gem of a record. |
