All hospitals (certainly in the UK, not entirely sure about the US) have a no smoking policy and a fair few have implemented designated smoking areas that nullify the damage of second hand smoke.

So no, the "it can damage patients" argument doesn't hold up to scrutiny. The only argument in favour of this that holds a semblance of credibility is that it drives insurance prices up, but if we're using that parameter to discriminate employees on then we may as well do it for obesity too, which takes more of a financial toll on the health industry than smoking does.

Yeah I can see this totally working out.

After two years of working in a supermarket the mindless consumerism of it all kind of wears you out.

I enjoy the festivities and spending time with loved ones, but the build up surrounding it has been satiated with materialism and rabid spending that I honestly can't be bothered with any more.

Why is Fallout 4 not on the list?
I think there are undoubtedly numerous disappointing facets to the game that need to be highlighted to Bethesda, but I wouldn't necessarily categorize the entire game as "disappointing." As a Fallout game it's a pretty big slap in the face to the fans, but as a standalone it's pretty solid.

MADTING
I thought "mad ting" was a London phenomenon.
I have a few London pals so I'm pretty familiar with the slang.

Aside from the story Halo 5 does not belong on this list
A lot of people agree that it's a Halo which is substantially lacking in content.

You're welcome to disagree but I can't omit it because you personally enjoy it.

Press F to pay respects. Marvel has won lads.
The only real bad parts of this trailer is Jesse Eisenberg. I thought he would do better after the first trailer but he's even worse in this one.
The trailer basically just gave away the entire premise of the movie.

The Flood / Re: Batman V Superman or Civil War
« on: December 02, 2015, 06:42:13 AM »
BvS has a lot to juggle in the span of one film. It will either be spectacularly good or spectacularly bad. I'm leaning towards the latter but maybe Hack Snyder will pull something out of the bag at the last minute. Who knows.

Civil War will probably play it safe with the tedious repetitive formula they've been stringing along for the past five movies now. It'll hold up as a serviceable action flick no doubt, but I'm not expecting it to break any barriers. The MCU is beginning to run its course with me.

All in all BvS will either be a hit or miss, while Civil War will more than likely be a solid, but not particularly fantastic movie.
