The only fighting game I've owned was Virtua Fighter 4 or something. I don't like fighting games, they're not very fun.
you just suck at them, get good
*dark souls fan logic*
Play until your fingers blister and bleed that's how you get good.

That's okay too! What kind of games do you prefer to play?

my opinion is that you can't really be "bad" at video games you can only be "better" or "worse"--relative terms
everyone plays differently, everyone learns differently, and so everyone is going to have their own unique experience creating this notion of "suck" only serves to create a negative atmosphere, which is probably not a great plan
maybe "bad" means "worse than the majority of players", but that's sort of difficult to measure, so we just sort of casually toss it around to describe players who have a hard time doing X, which is a petty standard
"i did X on my firs try, so anyone who can't do X on their first try sucks"
like judging who can climb a tree better a monkey or a fish?
wut
judging two things based on very specified skills such as completing fatality combos. Some are better at spaming the same move while others are better at true combat.

I have a blister on my thumb from Melee. Holy fuck do we go hard at smash.
My characters of choice are Warrior and Peach.
Who's yours? Warrior? Who would that be?
I played as Roy and Falco.
Oh dang yeah I need to be more careful about that...

Not big on fighting games by means, but this was my favorite as a kid. Still come back to it occasionally.

My childhood classic is Pocket Fighter I grew up on Street fighter and Capcom so I am terrible at Mortal Combat, but I'm "training" to get better. What fighter games are your favorites? Which ones could you do without?
Okay, now I'm slightly less confused. Are you trying to write in stanzas? Don't worry about offending me, I can take different views, no matter how hard they might hit. I was just confused by what you were saying since it seemed really bizarre and you were talking about some people seeing a 'spirit realm' and seeing some sort of group hallucinations. Sorry if I came off as abrasive, I've had my own share of experiences I can't really explain, but the way you presented what you were saying is different than what I'm used to.
I'm glad I could explain a little better. I don't much of anything abrasive. I do approach with caution, but you're fine.
What have you experienced?

I'm am very sensitive to what I call the Spiritual Realm and have been since I was a little girl. I always wondered why only some could see it, and others not at all. I was momentarily misdiagnoised as schzitfenic because of this. I got a second opinion and they said it was just depression. I know okay so I'm crazy, but then how come when I would see these strange beings others with me could also see them? Is it possible that perhaps our pineall glands can connect on the same plane as other when there is a disturbance of a mass energy force such as a spirit. It is well know that there are random pockets of energy trapped around the world and each force can create different psychological effects on someone. So let's say when our bodies enteract with another dimentional energry force by releasing the DMT to better see the danger lurking by because two strings of the universe sometimes do touch and overlap briefly. Which could be a reasoning behind apparitions. Yes I brought up string theory.
I'm impressed this wasn't a copy pasta.
So, are you incoherently rambling for any good goal? Because going on about spirit realms, seeing things, blah, blah seems like a plea for attention, confusion based on hallucinations in the past, or desperately wanting something to be true and due to a large gap of ignorance you're making things up to try to fill in that gap.
I giggled when I read that because I love creepypastas. No it's not a cry for help, but you can view what I say as you will. I get help when needed, but IRL not on a forum that I just joined. I'm an adult and I know the line and I'm sorry if I have insulted you that was not my intension I was purely making a speculation and yeah sure it could be completely skewed to you but I was only sharing an idea. Maybe my view is a gap, but just like I asked earlier "what is reality truly?"

wait so if I expect nothing to happen will I just be standing in an empty void of nothing like what happened to Squidward
The problem I see is that your dreams don't always just go with however you want them to. It's pretty much all conjecture.
I also rarely ever have dreams so that is another factor
Yes but there are those who can control their dreams perhaps by utilizing the pineal gland.

apparently scientists hypothesize that this gland is responsible for our sentience and perception of time. If this is truly the case...there is still so much about the world around us that we don't know about.
It makes me wonder if that's why some people are very punctual and others, like myself, cannot keep track of time no matter how hard they try. The pineal gland is also thought to be responsible for gifted sight meaning you can see into the spirit realm, and even a link into other dimensions. Here's a cool article I found on that: http://in5d.com/pineal-gland-portal-of-higher-dimensions/

It's romantic really. It just begs the question what is reality truly? If we can live an eternity at the moment of death because of a chemical reaction within our brain then what are we actually experiencing now?
