I work for painting at my college over the summer. It's pretty brain dead work. But it's from 7am to 3:30pm with two half hour breaks. It's a 40 hour work week at minimum wage so there's that I guess. Everyone kept congratulating me like it was done kind of huge achievement. Like yay I get to work
lol well you know getting a job is supposed to be a huge milestone for young adults, but it's really like congrats haha you have to work now.
And I don't get it! Like wow, great I get to work custodian again. So admirable. Don't get me wrong, I appreciate the people that do this work, but it feels beneath me
You should find a temp agency to put you in an office job that isn't custodial. I got my job with no office experience.

at first I was like wtf is this, and then I brought it to work, and when I got really shitty people on the phone I began spinning it, and it seriously helped me with my anxiety.
