Yep. Had a friend who was a serious alcoholic. Every thought was of his next drink. Depressing times.
The funny thing is she called herself an alcoholic but didn't have a drinking problem she just knew if she allowed herself to drink she would become dependent of it. I thought this was a sign of a change in mentality, but I was wrong. How did you cope with your friend, and do you two still talk?

I opened at Starbucks today. I went to bed at 12:30am, and had to wake up at 3am to be there at 4:30am. Early morning Starbucks goers are either still asleep, rude, or just plain creepy. I braided my hair into pigtails because it was being unruly. See photo below:  (No makeup Monday's!) These two middle eastern guys walk in and ask for two grande coffees. As I'm handing them their coffees one of the guys pipe up and say with a creepy stare "Oh wow I really like your hair! You hardly see pigtails anymore" :insert creepy smile: I stumbled over my words and said some pathetic excuse of a polite reply like "oh yeah thanks haha...", because I'm in the business of customer service and have to be polite. I shrugged it off until I caught the fucker staring at me, and not just a quick glance either. I saw him standing at the condiment bar hardcore staring me down out of my peripheral vision, so I turned my head to look at him to make him stop, because normal human beings stop when they're caught staring, but no this fucker just winks at me and says "have a good day pigtails"! I know it may not seem like a big deal, but it really creeped me out.
