The Flood / Re: Revell are assholes« on: September 10, 2015, 06:06:21 PM »I learned a bit about how 3D printing has actually improved the quality of collectables like these. Back in the day there was most likely not a readily available compatible computer 3D graphic design that the toy companies could utilize in creating the toys, so instead they would make their own, and this is why the older collectables sometimes look like trash. A lot of movies now use 3D printing to create components of their sets like in starwars and most of their ships, and toy companies can buy the rights to these computer graphic designs for their toys. This becoming epic toys and not trash. Yeah the numbers of Storm Troopers at DragonCon has diminished greatly imo, because when I first started going almost 10 years ago everyone was a Storm Trooper, like even the children! This year I saw some very well done brony-Storm Trooper mashups. I would expect that to come out looking like shit but I was very impressed with what I saw Spoiler 4327

Although, imo the fans have been rather creative and inventive all on their own and have created some fantastic Storm Trooper armor and helmets. 4329

Idk it has always baffled me like I wouldn't just casually post a pic of my vagina, but dick pics are more of an Internet social normality than anything else... Well maybe besides boobs. 4331

Serious / Re: English should be the primary language of the US.« on: September 10, 2015, 05:47:10 PM »
The funny thing is in school they never teach you that english, nor any language for that matter, has been determined as the national language. I think it kind of defeats the whole "melting pot" angle we were going for as a country.

The Flood / I'm Thinking About Putting Linux on My Laptop« on: September 10, 2015, 03:46:22 PM »
You can dual run the OS's and switch back and forth between them. I'm not sure what kind of computer you have, but I would recommend putting the Linux on an external hard drive. I actually put it on a Usb flash drive when I had it on my Chromebook laptop.
Edit: there is also an ubuntu forum that was really helpful to me. 4339
The Flood / Re: Birthday Time!« on: September 10, 2015, 01:43:20 PM »I dislike thinking about the past since it mostly sucked, pretty much every birthday since I was 19 has been drinking and drugs. Can't do that anymore for my 24th birthday with my job now. Anyhow, I can't recall ever thinking about my future when I was younger. Even still now, I just do what is presented to me and just go forward. Also this...I thought I would've gotten laid by now tbhHappy Birthday by the way. Well at least you had some "fun". Being an adult is strange. Like I noticed a difference with this year. I got most of my presents before my birthday for DragonCon, but the thing that threw me off was we all began cutting into the cake, and it dawned on me, but I laughed it off and said "isn't it bad luck to cut the cake before we sing happy birthday?" And immediately everyone started singing the song while stiffening their laughter. It's a bittersweet release into adulthood. I always wanted to be a psychologist, but now I'm more interested in to computer sciences. >.> go figure. 4340

I remember the first time my dad took me to see The Brave Digger at The Dome in Atlanta. That would be a pretty bad ass career. I think you were implying you are 14, and if so you still have time to at least get in one of the Monster Trucks. ^.^ then go from there. Even if it's not until your 20's always Chase your dreams 4341

I didn't understand what it meant but I cried because my mother cried, and because my school's skate night was canceled and it was the first (and only) time my mom was going to take me. >.> but I'm convinced that the government knew about it if not involved in it
