Yes, when I was about 10 I made the mistake of turning down the speed of Pink Floyd's Dark Side of the Moon on my mom's record player while I was home alone. It scared me so badly I went to the neighbor's house. They thought something bad had happened because I was blubbering like a baby. Needless to say they laughed at me but calmed me down.

Most disorders aren't too bad to live with. Unless it's something like schizophrenia because unless you take take the medicine to slow the process of your brain deteriorating (and even with the medicine) the symptoms only increase and amplify the older you get.

ah okay then I'm an introvert I suppose. I don't have a problem with people and can talk to them just fine its just my preference to be independent and by myself but on the same hand when I do socialize with people I try to aviod personal relationships mainly because I find it difficult to express empathy towards anyone really.
Yep that's what it's like being an introvert, and most of the time introverts have a few very close friends instead of a large group of buddies. There are exclusions in every case though, and iirc APD is more about the anxieties and fears present when faced with unwarranted social interactions.

Avoidant personality disorder is usually onset from exposure to an avoidant parenting style. Thanks mom and dad. Jk my parents are pretty cool.

Avoidant personality disorder is when you avoid making deeply personal relationships. Whereas being an introvert you just prefer to keep to yourself.
