When I first joined I remember feeling special when my frist thread became a "hot topic". It encouraged me to keep posting, so I think that's a good reason to keep it around to hopefully have the same effect with newer members.

I stumbled upon this article of a new discovery about developing a dark or warped sense of humor being a new sign of dementia. However, this most likely doesn't apply to us since we are well under the age of 65. Just an intersting thought. Maybe for our generation us losing our sick humor will be the new sign of dementia. Who knows?
What if you have no sense of humor and just serious?
Then i suggest you seek medical attention >.>

I just try to laugh more often at things in general so dark humor is automatically included in that.
I believe, on the internet at least, we develope this sick sense of humor as a coping mechanisim to lighten the blow of tragic events such as 9/11.
Well I use laughter to cope but it's not because of 14 year old tragedies.
Fair enough it was just an example lol is the boston bombing more relevant?

I was perscribed codeine after my car accident and it didn't really numb my physical pain but more or less numbed my mental awareness of it. At times it made me drowsy, apathetic, and randomly I would become enraged for no reason, but then there would be days that it would make me bubbly, hyper, and manic (extremely/overly happy), but that might have to do with me being bipolar. Usually it gives you an euphoric high.

You should tell your sister. Just tell her you need her advice on something personal, and i bet she already knows. I have a feeling she will be your biggest supporter. Best of luck!

I failed to find discussion value in your piss hard thread, and I have locked "oh" threads in the past as well. If there is legitimate discussion in a "funpost" I usually leave it alone.

Relateable to most college students: the effects excessive partying and their grade marks.
Or sleep deprivation.

was this song playing in the background as your husband proposed to you?
Unfortunatley, no. How did you know this is my favorite Alkaline Trio song? Freaking mind reader.

Well at least it was the actual fetuses themselves. The Bodies exhibit in Altanta actually had fetuses on display. It was intense tbh.

Nice to meet you! ^^
So what is it like being a mod?
Likewise! Tbh i have to censor what I want to say a lot, but I'm okay with this since that way I come off as less of an autist.
