Cocoa is pushing five and a half years.
Biscuit died when she was about four and a half, and I have no idea why. Must've been an illness or condition we didn't know about.

Really? O.o I didn't realize it was that farfetched. I'm sorry to hear about your guinea pig as well. I had two, but my sister-in-law made me get rid of them before we were supposed to move in together in a condo, and then she ended up bailing on me and my husband. I bawled my eyes out for hours when I found out I was going to have to give up my piggies... and then she just dips. It's better off for them at least. The guy I gave them to was a regular from one of my old jobs, he's rich, and eats a lot of vegetables, so they're well taken care of. Better so than what I could afford to do. It's still sad nonetheless to lose your beloved pets. How old is your Cocoa?

Mine both kicked the bucket within two years, and we took damn good care of them. Both were Syrian.
