A couple sweaters (which I really needed), Triforce Heroes, new phone case, a bunch of different CD's, and a calendar for my room.

oh. and underwear.

I forget that cd's are still a thing
CD's are what I use in the car when driving around so it's very needed :)
What CDs did you get? I wish my CD player in my car still worked. It likes to eat CDs

The Flood / What did you get for Christmas?
« on: December 25, 2015, 10:36:45 AM »
I got a cool jacket, Star Wars stuff, a few toys ::wink::, and the Sims 4.

I'm most happy with what I got my dad though.

I got him a drone!

His face was priceless. Last year I got him a toy helicopter that he loved and later lost up a tree, but this one tops it. He's excited to start recording with it.

What did you get for Christmas?

He's trash. He tried going to my high school the year after I graduated, but he couldn't handle all the inner city kids.
Say what
Beiber tried going to the same high school that Usher went to. It's an arts and sciences magnet school (now its a charter). I got in due to my artistic abilities. Fun fact: My father-in-law used to be Usher's science teacher there.

Veganism isn't entirely selfless especially if it makes you feel good about not consuming their flesh, and especially when those super vegans believe they are  superior to carnivores. To be clear: Verb, I am not talking about you. I'm referring to PETA fanatics.

Tfw my parents wouldn't let me watch the veggie tales because my dad saw it as a form of brain washing.
Your parents sound smart.
My dad is a successful self-taught electric engineer and a pilot, so yes.

My mother on the other hand I love her to death, but she is a weeb.

That's because there are no selfless acts to commit.
So if I jump on a grenade, I'm being selfish?

HAHAHA Wow.
I would like to say yes you would be selfless, but that could only be if you weren't doing it to save someone else.
What?
Saving someone gives you the good feeling of knowing they're most likely going to be safe. Aka gaining a positive emotion. Psychology really fucks with your brain, but I do have to agree with Verb in there is hardly a truly selfless deed. You help others because you know one day the favor should be returned, you give to the charity because it makes you feel good to help the poor, etc.. it's all because it makes you feel good, and if it makes you feel good then you are gaining from the situation.

In my college Psychology class they taught that no act is selfless because you do things to benefit yourself. Sure you would surely starve before your son, but there is gratification in getting your starving son food. Therefore it isn't truly selfless because you are gaining something: satification.

Okay guys I think we get it: you don't agree and probably will never see eye to eye. I believe this thread has gotten out of hand and completely derailed to no return. Cease and desist.

Can you ride in these things on the road?
It bounces a little, but I don't see why we are unable to.

I  know in Georgia it's against the law to ride in tag-a-longs unless there are seat belts. If there are seat belts it's legal.
I believe it's a tad different here.
Florida don't give a FUCK

I need to move to Florida
Oh wait...

Never mind...

I finally snapped and threw scalding hot coffee in the face of a bitchy customer.
For a moment I forgot what thread I was in and thought this was legit. lol
The one thought I had was "Yea... Sep7 will do that to you after a while."

I know my response is pretty honest of what I wish I could do sometimes...
Scary.
