Working in food sucks, glad you could get out of it.
I've  been in the food industry for roughly 6 years, and I am so happy I am done. ^.^

What drama did you deal with at work? I imagine you have enough stories about shitty co-workers to fill an entire book.
All of my coworkers are pretty cool except for a few that I feel like I have to walk on eggshells around. One of them decided it woud be okay to insult me in front of my manager saying I was like Jekyl and Hyde. Which is a pretty insulting thing to say to someone who is bipolar. We were trying to have a seriois conversation. I had unknowingly insulted her and immediately admitted to my ignorance. I ended the conversation and had a good stress cry because I was unable to cuss them out like I wanted to. If I had I would have lost my job right then and there despite being provoked.

Was it really that bad?

The stress was immense, and I don't feel safe there anymore. Last week a guy ended up shaking me while screaming/laughing "BUT I DON'T WANNA LEAVE!!" after I told him he had to leave. He left bruises on my arm. We have had the cops talk to him multiple times about not staying on our porch after we leave, because he will just sit there all night and still be there in the morning. A lot of creepers hang out around that location.
;____;

Jesus, no wonder you don't want to work there

...What's the worst you've had to deal with? If it's alright to ask

I got to see a customer dead arm another customer who was trying to chase after me when I walked away to call the police. I had to ask him to leave after he started to get ridiculously angry that he wasn't making coherent words, and refused to leave. >.> the cop is not happy that the customer is still allowed in our store.

You work at Dutch Bro's now?

I don't know what that is...so no.

I'm going to be a call center tech. Fear my troubleshooting powers.
I thought you had to have an Indian accent to work at a place like that?

I can fake a good one as long as I don't start laughing... my husband called my work today, and used an Indian accent while asking to speak to me. My coworker was confused.

may as well kill yourself now tbh

I'm excited because there's opportunities to get into the code development department, and they train you.

Did I mention it's for a company that prints and develops designs and games for the lottery?

The Flood / AMA Goodbye Starbucks!

Hellooo New Job!!!

I only have 6 more shifts to work at Starbucks, and then I am FREE! No more constantly slipping, and saving face despite wearing non-slip shoes. No more burning myself on asshole's 180F degree no-foam latte. Best of all no more having to deal with Starbucks customers!!! Fuck the "Just say 'YES'" mission statement. Sometimes you just have to say "NO" to some of those truly deserving nasty cunts. My store is falling apart, and I feel bad that I'm abandoning ship, but luckily my partners are strong swimmers.

I have dealt with too much drama from Starbucks. Hell I have had to personally evacuate the entire store twice, and called the ambulance for countless people who needed to be rushed away to the hospital. The worst part is that there are customers that my DM refused to ban from our store despite having to call the police on him for trying to go after me. The mission statement is all a lie and an illusion. Starbucks is corrupt af. Definitely didn't nurture my damned human spirit...  >.>

I have tons of stories of crazies. So have any questions for a retiring Barista?

Oh I just remembered something else kind of disguating. In my technical theater class we were lifting up the heavy stage floors in teams to uncover the pit, and one team dropped one of the floor slabs onto the foot of a classmate and it smashed his foot flat. I jad to respond and was the one put in charge of taking care of him until his parents got there. We couldn't take off his shoe, but there was blood gushing out from it.

Another girl fell into the pit (which ia about a 10ft drop) head first, and cracked her skull open. She was knocked unconscious and was in the hospital for a week. There's still blood stains from that incident.

A girl was caught masterbaring in the bathrooms by a teacher (she didnt shut the bathroom stall door), my friend got caught smoking weed in the choir room (idiot), and multiple of our pep day assemblies were cancled due to threats of kids fighting, bringing guns, bad behavior, etc.. A lot of inner Atlanta city kids were chartered to my school thanks to the mothers to mothers foundation. There were fights daily and my sophmore year high fiving was banned due to so much drug trafficking in my school halls. Yep another day in the life of an og.

What if having them removed is simply a consequence of making sweet love to them?
that's the thread

unless i missed your point
what if i don't actually want the user removed but it's a consequence of making sweet love to them?
I would definitely do this with Kitsune.

No offense, Kitsune.

There's no one here that I would want removed tho.
But there has to be someone you want to fuck.

The moderation staff is shit enough already, we don't need to remove one of the good ones
Staaaaahp
