Game design or animation

I wish I could do animation.

I'd love to be a film or game director.

But I'll probably be some sort of teacher in the future.

Teachers are very important!

Actor, musician, philosopher.

I'm technically a thespian, but I was a lighting designer.
What instrument do you play, or do you sing?

I've played the drums since i was 13, i also have that angel singing voice I've had since i was in kindergarten.

Oh that's pretty cool. Have you done any performances?

For acting, it was in the summer when i was done with 6th grade and i was in a play. For music i haven't done any gigs yet. The only performances are with classmates in elementary school for occasional events.

Keep at it! The more you do the more experience you have under your belt and it's always best to start now than later. Even if it is a smaller role put your heart and soul into it!

I'm more of a mix. I lean more towards conservative when it comes to things like the death penalty, gun control, and welfare, but I am more liberal when it comes to things like abortion, same-sex marriage, and religion.

Environment Artist in games. Texturing, skyboxes, that kind of stuff.

That seems like a very detailed oriented job. Are you familiar with doing that kind of stuff?

Yeah

I'm a sucker for detail when it comes to map editing programs (Stuff like forge or even FO4 settlements), and I've been using photoshop to create textures for materials for a number of years. Now I'm teaching myself blender so I can start wrapping textures to actual models.

Of course, I say models meaning stuff like grass or trees or the pretty planet in the background of a corridor shooter. Not as much guns and cars, that's prop artists. It kind of annoys me when people complain about skyboxes looking fancy and the gameplay being bd, saying all the time went into skyboxes, because skybix stuff is generally pretty easy to do as it's purely how pretty it needs to be where level design and whatnot have a lot more stuff that needs to be considered.

That's really impressive! I'm not sure what a skybox is, but the environment is pretty damn important when it comes to games. I honestly think it can make or break a game, but then again I enjoy aesthetics.

How do I become as popular as Kitsune?

Should I become a female?

Don't chop your dick off for popularity. Unless your dream job is to become a trans prostitute? That would be cool too.

I didn't realize that Canada still had an army, eh.
We do it's just small but elite

I know I was just being an asshole, but that's a very honorable job. Are you enlisted?

Audio Engineering.
I don't have the location or capital to break in to it though.

What exactly does an Audio Engineer do?
YouTube

Yell at awful musicians in a studio.

You would be so great at that! lol
Isn't there schooling to learn how to mix and use recording stuff?
Yeah, there's schools like that. I think rocket did a class or two when he was getting his libbie arts degree. Though I'm already familiar enough with basic interfaces and Cubase as my Daw of choice... thinking about moving to Reaper.

But I don't exactly have the space for a studio nor do I have the cash to sink in to all kinds of mic setups, amp racks, and the like.

Yeah financially it seems like it would be a lot of money to invest into a career. Still it's something you could always gradually collect.

It used to be game development. Now? I no longer know.

I still believe in you Deci!

Sep7agon had the right to crush that dream anyway.

No one has the right to crush your dreams unless your dreams are to rape, murder and destroy....

Well... they're not, I'm not subhuman at all.

But I dunno. I've lost a lot of passion lately.

It's okay Deci things will look up you just gotta keep trying.

Aerospace engineer.

Maybe become a teacher in later life.

Are you going to school for aerospace engineering? That sounds intense!
Start my degree in September.

That's so great! Best of luck!
Thanks fam. Not sure whether I should feel excited or completely horrified.

Maybe a touch of both? Be confident and study hard. Don't be afraid to ask questions.

Okay scratch my other post.

While my ideas for a career has changed. Game Designer has always been one for me since I was 12. So yeah, that.

Probably the highest point I would ever want to be is Creative Director. Yeah, I may not be coding the game or animating it, but I am making some of the big decisions. My only problem would be Office Politics.

I've always thought being a game tester would be cool. Actually creating a game seems so hard.

Getting paid to use the Internet.

So Youtuber?

Yes, but with less uploading videos that I've made, and more watching videos that others have made.

You could always be one of those reaction youtubers who records themselves watching other's videos.

There's this one guy who literally just sits there without any expression on his face O.o

What do you like to write about the most?
probably the ones that are themed around obscure philosophical subjects that i find intriguing

i draw a lot of inspiration from albert camus and chuck palahniuk--maybe a little salinger, too

my characters tend to look inward at themselves, rather than the world around them, which often results in these long passages written in a stream-of-consciousness type style, so there's less room for physical description, which i always found to be kinda boring anyway

That sounds really awesome! I'd love to read some of your work sometime.

App developer. I'd have a large market, plenty of ideas for apps (Both could be practical or entertainment), and finally, everyone wants to make the next 'flappy bird' app. That shit made serious money. But I'm kinda stuck because I love animals/discovery. So Veterinarian, or researcher. Fuck... So yeah, it's hard for me to narrow down shit.

Why not make an app for Vets and their patients?

ideas for novels have been spinning around in my head since high school, but i've yet to put pen to paper on them

Health inspector, I'd love to go investigate various restaurants and establishments just to be a bitch about everything whilst making sure they're up to standards of course.

If you want to be REALLY intimidating and nit picky Starbucks has their own health inspectors for something they call QASA and literally the baristas go into chaos clean mode the second a QASA inspector comes in. They are more intensive and thorough than the state run health inspectors (at least in Georgia they are).

Something that makes the most money per amount of effort

So you want to become a cat?
They don't get paid, homie.

Not unless you're Grumpy Cat or Lil' Bub, but most house cats get paid in love, free food, and shelter.
