I've shot a shotgun before... got my mark too, but it just so happened to be inside when it was fired... .which made me afraid to touch guns in general. I was maybe 16 and my friend said it wasn't loaded and that the safety was on and that I couldn't pull the trigger even if I tried, and said go ahead and try it... so I did.... and BOOM! There was a hole in between the lock and the handle on their kitchen door leading out to the garage. Luckily no one was out there/behind the door... needless to say I wasn't allowed to come over anymore after that.

they have simple mechanics, easy operation, not a lot of recoil, not a lot of weight
just tell him to only load 5 rounds in the mag so the gun isnt as heavy

Well a stupid parent let their kid fall into a gorilla pen. The gorilla made a move for the kid. I understand the zoo course of action on the matter. It said its stupid it's tragic but at the end of the day a human life is worth more than a animal life.
Harambe was a silver-back western lowland Gorilla they are considered critically endangered. I would definitely disagree and say that Harambe's life was more important than that dumb ass child's life who obviously came from a weak gene pool.
