I was minding my own business taking my dog outside to the dog park next to my apartment building and all of a sudden I hear a kitten crying. I walked over to this bush look underneath it and this kitten just walks up to me crying. I picked it up not knowing what to do. I looked around for other cats or kittens thinking maybe I had stumbled upon a cat's litter, but no there was just the kitten. I went to the store and bought him kitten food and kitten milk. My dog seems to like him so far, but my cat Athena keeps hissing at him. I'm not sure if I can or am going to keep him, but I just wanted to share this ultimate cuteness. Today is my 3rd day without cigarettes and the universe brought me a kitten. So it's been a good day. How's your day been?

Wednesday was my husband's 25th birthday. We spent the entire day outside by the river surrounded by friends, good food, alcohol, oh and 400 water balloons and an arsenal of super soakers... yes.
We had an epic battle that lasted 2 hours which ended with me and my husband having two tubs of water dumped on us. Everyone was soaked.
We ended the day with a hike to a waterfall, jumped off a cliff into the river, and hung up our hammocks in the trees. It was an epic day, and I'm finally feeling back to normal. We were all trashed.

So tonight when I get off of work I'm headed over to this place called Slingshot Entertainment. They have a bunch of different things like go carts and bowling, but they also have an adult Ninja obstacle course which is why we're going there.   I'm honestly probably going to die (or just get hurt) but it looks like a lot of fun. Would this be something that you'd be interested in? Why or why not?

Anyways... working for the lottery isn't as boring as I thought it might be. The printing press is really impressive, and gigantic, and the people who work here are all really nice. It's still a bummer that I can't play the lottery... I really enjoyed scratch offs, but at least I can still play with ones that are VOIDed out due to quality.

Hellooo New Job!!! I only have 6 more shifts to work at Starbucks, and then I am FREE! No more constantly slipping, and saving face despite wearing non-slip shoes. No more burning myself on asshole's 180F degree no-foam latte. Best of all no more having to deal with Starbucks customers!!! Fuck the "Just say 'YES'" mission statement. Sometimes you just have to say "NO" to some of those truly deserving nasty cunts. My store is falling apart, and I feel bad that I'm abandoning ship, but luckily my partners are strong swimmers. I have dealt with too much drama from Starbucks. Hell I have had to personally evacuate the entire store twice, and called the ambulance for countless people who needed to be rushed away to the hospital. The worst part is that there are customers that my DM refused to ban from our store despite having to call the police on him for trying to go after me. The mission statement is all a lie and an illusion. Starbucks is corrupt af. Definitely didn't nurture my damned human spirit... >.> I have tons of stories of crazies. So have any questions for a retiring Barista?

So Das will get a kick out of this since he calls me fat all the time. I went to my front office today to go pick up the thigh master that I ordered in the mail. When the lady came out with the package I noticed it had been opened, but didn't think much of it since it came from China and I know that those packages are manually checked from time to time. So I drive to work and look inside and it's a fucking box of choclates that say "Perishable! Refridgerate immediately!" on it and I'm just like hold up what the actual fuck?! So I check the packaging tracking I.D with the product and sure enough they match. So not only did I not get the exercise equipment I ordered, but they sent me a SPOILED box of chocolates. Lesson learned: China is filed with little trolls that want to keep Americans from exercising. Lmao.

I got a cool jacket, Star Wars stuff, a few toys ::wink::, and the Sims 4. I'm most happy with what I got my dad though. I got him a drone!  His face was priceless. Last year I got him a toy helicopter that he loved and later lost up a tree, but this one tops it. He's excited to start recording with it. What did you get for Christmas?

It's like the rich person's version of camping, so in other words I've never done this before. My in-laws recently bought a RV and have been camping in it pretty much every weekend now, so what better way to enjoy Thanksgiving than on a RV? It'll just be for tonight, but idk it just seems weird.
I'm pretty sure there's going to be wifi.
What should I bring? Bored games? Maybe we'll encounter a psychopathic murderer in the woods?

I stumbled upon this article of a new discovery about developing a dark or warped sense of humor being a new sign of dementia. However, this most likely doesn't apply to us since we are well under the age of 65. Just an intersting thought. Maybe for our generation us losing our sick humor will be the new sign of dementia. Who knows?
