I had an awkward talk with my landlady a couple of weeks ago where she tried to explain what BDSM was.
I think she was telling you for a reason.
*shudders*

I thought Jung was pronounced "yuung" and Jong like "yong", i.e. exactly what you'd expect.

Clusterfuck by your definition >"i don't understand why people don't like something "superior" over this clusterfuck" >subthreads are a clusterfuck >"b-but that's just your opinion"
lmao get the fuck out of here. The current system is a clusterfuck by your definition. See how this works?
Yes, because you presented your comment like ">superior >clusterfuck" as if both were quoting me. Like you were implying I contradicted myself. Yes, endless scrolling. Did you ever go into a large thread? Fucking impossible to navigate and find anything because it's just a single page of comments. What does this have to do with subthreads? If you click "oldest first" on the thread it organises it into pages with subthreads. One page threads and subthreads aren't inseparable.

because they're an absolute clusterfuck
That's hilarious. The current quoting system is the definition of a clusterfuck.
So are subthreads. At least with this style it's easy to tell who's talking to who. I've lost count of the amount of times I've had someone think I was talking to them because of how shitty subthreads are.
If subthreads get your dick so hard why don't you just use Bnet instead of wanting this place to become Bnet?
I don't give a shit how this site turns out. It just blows my mind that people could prefer this over something clearly superior. And I didn't think it needed to be said, but I don't base which site I spend my time on on whether it has subthreads or not ( and I use both anyway).
>something superior >clusterfuck
It's not superior at all. All it did was result in endless scrolling and people getting confused over who is talking to who. The current system is fine; you can clearly see who is talking to who, and isn't an endless page.
Clusterfuck by your definition, and even then you didn't have any objections when I called this system a clusterfuck, just that it was less of a clusterfuck And "endless scrolling"? You're merging subthreads and single page threads into one thing.

didn't he always used to post that everywhere
regardless of whether or not it had any discussion value or not
Yes. He had no actual worth, so had to resort to shit gimmick posting for attention.
That is such bullshit. BBB was a great user.
He wasn't though. Going around copy/pasting th same thing in basically every thread he entered doesn't make him a good member. It's just retarded.
No it doesn't, but that's not why I think highly of him. I know that he gave me an impression of being someone who had their head screwed on better than the average user, in a community that didn't rely on spamming "ayy lmao" and "kill yourself cunt" in every thread.
Yeah, he just spammed "what are we supposed to be discussing here" everywhere instead. Same shit different smell.
Different shit entirely, and again,"that's not why I think highly of him"
And personally, I don't remember him "spamming it everywhere" as everyone here is so adamantly recalling. He posted it in unnecessary or generally uninteresting threads, but he'd have been banned far more often if he had spammed it in threads without consideration.
He wouldn't get banned because he was Mythic. Just like all the other Mythics wouldn't get banned because they were Mythics.
I think becoming Mythic in the first place shows a decent aptitude for following the rules. It's more likely they were Mythic because they didn't get banned and not the other way around. Whether some of them tip toed around the rules from time to time I don't know, but I know that people often broke the rules and didn't get banned for it. It sounds like confirmation bias that you'd especially pick up on every time it happened to a Mythic member.

well why is it a bad idea? It would organize the threads and reduce the amount of scrolling you'd have to do through threads.
people just like b.old's style more
that was the whole reason behind having offsites like this
because we hated bnet's update so much
so, it would be silly to make ourselves look more like bnet why not just go back to bnet at that point?
Well that's just not being like b.net for the sake of not being like b.net. I don't know how anyone can support having pages of quotes of a conversation between two people over having the thread organised nicely and being easy to read. Everyone always harps on about how this place is an entirely different site to bungie.net. Why not let it be its own site then? i.e NOT being deliberately like or unlike bungie.net.
It's not like B.old for the sake of it. People don't want sub-threads because they don't like it on B.new.
Not a hard concept to grasp.
I was responding to Verb, who was clearly saying "no, because that would make us be like bungie.net". And I already expressed my confusion as to why someone wouldn't like subthreads. "Because they don't like it" doesn't clear anything up.
People not wanting it because they don't like it is a perfectly viable reason to not have it.
And I already expressed my confusion as to why someone wouldn't like subthreads. as to why someone wouldn't like subthreads.

Ehh, not really. I tend to be more critical of something if it is particularly mainstream though - if it's really popular, does it deserve to be?
