The Flood / Re: John Wick 3 needs to hurry up and come out already« on: August 31, 2017, 12:33:46 PM »
Watched the first one, didn't think much of it. The whole "oh my god don''t mess with john wick he's a freaking badass" thing got kinda old pretty quickly (seriously, "he killed three men with a pencil!" did a 12 year old write this?), then the rest of it was just run-of-the-mill superhuman assassin action, and when he finally kills the dude that killed his dog it's a complete anti-climax and just leaves you deflated

The Flood / Re: Mayweather vs McGregor press conference LOS ANGELES« on: August 28, 2017, 05:10:58 PM »There's more hype around UFC nowadays too, most boxers people care about are retired whereas anyone who even casually watches UFC knows pretty much all the champions and top contenders.I mean, look at it from a business perspective. Which is easier? Negotiating money for each individual boxer, or getting a contract with the UFC who has all the best fighters under one banner so you just sign with them?Yeah I wouldn't mind that. It's just licensing each boxer requires great effortEA has the money to do it but those greedy fucks just don't want to spend it 42

The Flood / Re: GoT Episode 6 Discussion Thread?« on: August 22, 2017, 03:45:16 PM »Lady Stoneheart is irrelevant in the show now anyways, her sole purpose was to hunt down and kill all of the Freys and Arya did that in like 5 mins anywaysIf there's one thing I've taken from this episode it's that Beric Dondarrion has an amazing voiceThe show makes some pretty bad decisions, but I do prefer Beric over Lady Stoneheart personally 46
The Flood / Re: GoT Episode 6 Discussion Thread?« on: August 22, 2017, 03:42:43 PM »As we know fire to wights is like kryptonite to Superman, so wouldn't Viserion ignite himself the moment he breathes fire? I know he wouldn't point his head at his body and do it, but the fire would still generate inside of him and come out of his mouth which may be some splashback.I assume Viserion is going to be breathing ice instead of fire. 47

I still can't get over the fact that they devoted 5 minutes to a sex scene between the two worst characters in television

The Flood / Re: Game of Thrones Episode 5« on: August 16, 2017, 05:16:30 PM »
I indeed thought it was odd that the Tarlys were killed off so early. Randyll was shaping up nicely to fill in that tywin/stannis/roose shaped hole - like, an authoritive military presence that actually seems like he knows what he's talking about. But hey, at least we still have grey worm !

The Flood / Re: Game of Fanservice« on: August 16, 2017, 05:05:50 PM »Why make less episodes if you're just going to rush itFrom what I've heard, they want to just be done with GOT at this stage to focus on their new project. They've been working on it for 10 years now and have been forced to write the plot themselves, which is something I'm sure they didn't think they'd be doing when they started. 53
The Flood / Re: Game of Fanservice« on: August 15, 2017, 06:05:31 PM »Still, Hardhome was fucking spectacular and has yet to be topped. The show still has its moments. Battle of the Bastards, The Door and the Winds of Winter were all last season, all were amazing episodes amid a season that had absolute flops as well. I don't doubt for one minute that the show can still provide some outstanding, entertaining television. I completely understand all the qualms about teleportation or rushing the plot or whatever but I find it hard to believe that someone would have to force themselves to continue watching just because they've come this far 54

The Flood / Re: What makes a villain interesting?« on: August 10, 2017, 06:27:20 PM »
i like when you can't really fault a villain for their actions like... you know it's evil but you can also justify it and it causes you to question everything
like that character from watchmen(?) who killed millions of people to prevent a nuclear fallout that would have destroyed the planet 57

No chance she's Hound-tier after a few months in Braavos.i know right, i mean brienne is one of the most battle hardened fuckers in westeros (show-wise) and has bested some of the most skilled knights and arya hasn't even really had a proper sword fight until now (unless i missed something?) 59

Harry Styles was surprisingly good in it, actually stood out imo
also the soundtrack was weird at times, there were parts of nimrod by Elgar played but with the tempo slowed down drastically |
