I think I am done posting for a while. The new rules have turned a few people into even bigger assholes. I am not ruining this place by wanting the rude shit to stop, and the mods are not ruining it by creating new rules, the people who want to continually be assholes to other people are ruining it.
Well I think it's safe to say that the introduction of these new rules went a tad rougher than planned.

Kiddies don't like being told what to do, m8. I've dealt with a lot of toddlers in my time.
I really wish people could handle things getting out of hand without resorting to passive aggressive insults like that. It's not helping, and god forbid PSU or someone takes a look in here it's just starting more shit.

I am not talking about creating a +18 forum, I am talking about implementing a new paragraph in the agreement— a section in it, that mentions that those who register are of mature age in their country.
That isn't the sole problem that we are apprehensive about implementing such a forum. Namely, it would split the population of the forum, create more problems, and it would be extremely hard to moderate.
Some of the staff are under that age.

There are very few sex scenes in the books. The show is on HBPorno so they pretty much have to put in way more sex scenes
The book is more explicit for sure. Like characters fantasizing about other characters, or getting aroused or whatever. GRRM felt the need to keep the readers updated on how horny Samwell Tarly is at all times. And I'm not even sure there are fewer sec scenes. While the show.. shows more at times, most of it is in the books too. Like if someone visits a brothel, in the book it might not explicitly say that someone is getting banged in the corner, but the show does. And I don't remember Daenarys and Cersei briefly becoming lesbians in the show...
