Like I said, war isn't pretty. Yes, war is problematic. But the problem isn't with the soldiers, it's with the governments.

Militaries exist to protect countries. Sometimes they go to war and war isn't pretty. Most decent people on the front lines suffer from PTSD. There's a pretty big difference between war and murder, I'm sorry.
Also like others have said, just because you're in the military, it doesn't mean you kill people. Most don't.
But I can see with such a closed minded view you probably can't be argued with, especially with sweeping generalizations like that.
Invading another country and killing people is murder, if you want to sugar coat the shit to make it easier for you to sleep at night then what ever floats your boat. But the fact is those "good people" stop being good people when they pick up a gun and shoot at people defending their country. I'm afraid you're the ones with the closed minds, you never want to accept that you're military is a bunch of murderers. But I guess as long as it's not Americans they're killing it's all well and good and "not murder".

It is not. There is literally no reason for it. I dislike the US military because of how the government uses it, and I do not blindly respect anyone in the military, because I have worked with some of them and am well aware that they are just like everyone else. Some will be amazing people and some are total dicks. I do not hate someone simply because they are or were previously in the military though, that is just an absurd and backwards way to think.

I think as a mod you're a little too opinionated. Which...may explain why or why not some people had issues with you becoming a mod. Long as you don't let that affect your moderating though, it's all good.
