I'm currently playing ocarina but it seems super boring so far. I'm not very far though
What person hasn't played OOT before? You will play it and you WILL like it.

How did you get your hands on the vanilla ost? I thought they never released it because something something marty being a little bitch.
They released the soundtrack for the original game back when it came out. But supposedly Marty had already composed the music for all Destiny games to be released. As in The Music for The Taken King, Rise Of Iron, Destiny 2, 3, and whatever else is already made. Marty wanted to sell it in one package. Called The Symphony of The Spheres I think.

Well, I play games for fun. I don't need to be able to express myself. If it's fun, it's fun. The end. And Jono. I agree, but I was trying to be nice.

Sports games and mobile games. Can't believe so many people here think RTS games are boring.

695
Yeah... No. Completely disagree on this. A baby isn't a person just because it isn't grown up yet to think for itself and do for itself? Fuck that. Don't care what anyone says. This is wrong.
If you're not willing to argue you shouldn't be in Serious. If you're seriously gonna be this childish in the future I'm gonna report you.
What are you talking about? All I said was I don't agree with it.

They were fun, but the boss fight in King's Fall was just ridiculous, and after trying many times I was never able to beat it. And the only way to get gear good enough to do better in it was by being carried by a strong team.

Did they ever release raid modes for the new level caps?
I thought kings fall was significantly easier than Aetheon

And I dunno I haven't played for months
They did. It drops gear now for LL335.

All I can say is we wiped way more on VoG. King's Fall wasn't that hard. Neither was VoG. Just sections of it. My first try on King's Fall. This was everyone's first try in our group. Day 1. We beat the first section and boss like it was nothing. Demolished the Warpriest. We got to Golgoroth and wiped once or twice. Then got to Sisters and was raped. And we quit for the night and beat it the next one. It really isn't that hard once you know what to do.
if they're gonna raise LL of the raid gear anyway not not do it for skolas, atheon, and crota too

That's what I don't understand
No. They raised the light level, you can get any piece of gear from The Taken King, raid gear or not, and bring it up to max level. As for making all content be equal. Well, I dunno. I can't answer that. Part of it is them wanting you to use new stuff, but otherwise I don't know.

Why would you guys make more than one character? I couldn't imagine going through everything again...

He probably believes in that globalism bullshit. In that case, pretty much anything and everything is up for grabs. Any conspiracy you can think of leads back to it. For this topic, I suppose he thinks GMOs are here to poison us. Just like Fluoride is here to sterilize us. You see where this goes lol....

I think they should keep all content relevant for the life of the game. So everything from Destiny, The Dark Below, House Of Wolves, The Taken King, and Rise of Iron is useful. Then when the actual sequel comes out they can make us abandon the old stuff. MMOs do this, but it's usually over a longer time frame so it doesn't hurt as much. As for matchmaking, they should add that too. But it's really not that hard to get 6 people together. The problem is elitism. Always wanting you to have certain things or certain experience. Be thankful it's only 6, and not 25, or 40.

702
Well, they both suck. So the country will only get worse either way.

Oh fuck no. Controls and combat are debatable. Everything else is not. This is called contrarianism. Suck my dick.

Also. Reported.

Also, Skyrim is a good game, but it's not a good RPG. Which is why people say "depth of the puddle" "babies first RPG" Each new ES that comes out takes more and more away. Some call it streamlining, I call it casualizing. Fallout 4 is a perfect example. Fallout 3 was a great game, though pretty dumbed down compared to the originals. Fallout 4 took even more away. Fallout 4 just isn't as good as either, RPG mechanics aside.

No reason to anymore if you have a high end PC.

Still looks like a PS3/360 game and won't be any different from the older ones. Can't say I really remember any other shooters. Besides Titanfall 2. Titanfall 2 looks a lot better than IMO.

It's called Nuclear Winter. It was a world war. So, it's entirely possible the sun would be blocked out for decades and decades, maybe even centuries. Right? I mean, that many nukes going off everywhere, it's gonna be bad...

a nuclear wasteland

A nuclear meltdown is worse than an air bursting nuke and Chernobyl has recovered just fine in a quarter of the time.

Also the Sky in Chernobyl didn't turn green.
100s of nukes hitting one target probably is worse than nuclear meltdown. And Chernobyl is still bad off. Turned the trees red and damaged the animals. But yeah, not like Fallout.

Yes, Bethesda games are always behind because they're using an engine from 1997. I swear if the next ES is just an upgraded Fallout 4 engine...

There are PS3 games that look better than Fallout 4.

Serious / Re: On the concept of 'small government'
« on: June 20, 2016, 08:19:39 PM »
Depends on your view of "small". The US will never go small enough to make those borderline anarchist people happy. Unless somehow there was some terrible civil war or revolution or something. But I do think the government could be downsized in several ways. Cut the crap we don't need. And for the crap we do need. Stop being so excessive. Do we need military stationed everywhere all over the world? Should the US maybe not interfere/offer help in foreign problems? As in, use the military only when directly attacked or greatly threatened. A lot of stuff back home could be cut too. But I'm not gonna get into it, because I don't know all the facts. And you'll get several great arguments from both sides. Some people think the government should be here to protect and serve. And... that's it, nothing else. So, no food stamps, no government hands outs at all, no social security. No funding to schools, nothing. While I wouldn't go that far. You can see where I'm going...

Mine weren't that impressive. I would post pictures but I don't have any on me. And I deleted Fallout 4 for now. Needed room for other games. And Bethesda's incompetence with Far Harbor is unacceptable.

The only stuff that is limited really is the conferences, which can be watched via stream anyways.

Booths and all that are always open.
Ah. Cool to know. I can understand having the "behind closed doors" stuff limited to people in the industry. Obviously. Don't see why not everyone can't watch the conferences on-site though.

Gaming / Re: Wait why would anybody buy a Scorpio
« on: June 16, 2016, 08:14:54 PM »
I've heard there might be exclusives for it. And I heard there may not be. Besides that, resolution and framerate. And I would assume graphics too? Most games are looking great on PS4/X1. But they can always look better. Think of it like this. If you have Low Medium, High, Ultra settings on PC for a game. PS4/X1 are probably a combination of Medium and High, with some Low thrown in. Maybe Scorpio will initially have games looking identical to Ultra settings on PC. So, you'd have better framerates, graphics, and resolution.

Wat?
E3 is for journalists and people in the industry, not the public.

Supposedly Dead Rising 4 is coming to PS4 by the way. Just read it's a 1 year timed exclusive like Tomb Raider.
