It was my first and I liked it. Definitely better than Unity. I enjoy it more than Syndicate too. Black Flag is great though. Get that if you haven't. AC2 is the best by the way.

Because you can get a noticeable improvement in texture quality, resolution, frame-rate, detail on the map, access to the complete library/ no need for backwards compatibility (Wanna play Battlefield 2? KOTOR? Doom 1?) mods, steam sales, early access (if that's your thing), a lot of games that aren't available on console (Strategy, MMOs etc), ability to use the PC for other endeavours (Graphic design, 3D modelling, video editing etc), and the ability to customise to your comfort.
A new PS4 doesn't really do anything the older one doesn't except it's now a bit shinier. And that extra shinyness won't be used to its full extent by any game that isn't exclusive because multiplat developers 9 times out of 10 don't have the time or resources (or both) to optimize each version of their product to each platform as well as a dev working for one console could. And if they're spending their budget on making it look shiny, you're probably just looking at a tech demo (See: Rise, Order 1886: Victorian Warfare and such).
So unless you have a raging boner for the crap lineup of exclusives the current consoles have to offer, 4K is just a meme that isn't actually worth anything. Certainly not worth ditching a console you currently own to buy a fancier version of anyway.
I agree. What I meant earlier was there are people who buy PCs SOLELY for graphics. Mods and all the extra goods don't count. They buy a PC just for better resolution and graphics. And this is what the Neo/Scorpio will offer. So people will buy them. And to be honest. If I didn't already have a PS4, I'd probably go ahead and get the Pro instead. No need to use my Xbox anymore or buy a Scorpio when MS barely releases any games for it. And the ones they do are on PC...

reaction has been mixed, but from what i've seen the majority seems to be in the optimistic camp
that being said unless you get into some of the bigger corps that run big expensive doctrines most pvp takes place in frig dessies and cruisers and outside of wanting to solo an l4 mission you don't really need a battleship
I already forgot the name. But I was training for a huge mining barge. That's all I wanted to do. Mining/Industry. Not interested in PvP.

Sure, if you know you're gonna try it. Why not? I'm really enjoying it. Finished Azsuna yesterday, and now I'm in Highmountain. Only level 103 too. Zones are beautiful. Quests are fun. There's always players nearby interacting with the world. And again, questing is great. Each zone feels like a self contained story.

But that's nothing. I have about the same amount of time spent on Destiny, in FFXIV. I have close to 1000 hours on WoW counting all characters I've ever had. I have 2700 on Runescape. Close to 2800 now.

To a point it's valid. I'm glad Fallout 1 and 2 exist, despite the fact that I don't like them, because it gave me New Vegas.
That doesn't mean you should feel obligated to enjoy them. Games do age, contrary to what some believe. Some are timeless, others are not, others are improved through slight modernization (System Shock with mouse look).
A shit game is a shit game, though. If it's really that shitty then that tells me it really wasn't considered to be a good game, just a game that has potential.
He said bad games. How are Fallout 1 and 2 bad?

It's worth a try. I'm enjoying it. Pre-Patch is cool. The Broken Shore cinematics are pretty cool. Probably the best Blizzard has done. Not counting the CGI ones.

Stars of varying classifications
Black Holes
Neutron stars
Gas Giants and ring systems
Asteroid Belts (Dunno if these are in the game anyway. I'm erring on the side of they aren't but correct me if they are)
And finding a planet with life would actually hold some weight to it. Out of all the airless dustballs out there and you finding one with life? That's something special.
There are different types of stars and black holes. The higher class stars have the better planets and usually aren't on your straightforward path. Black Holes just throw you many many many more light years closer to the center instead of going system to system.

Come on guys. This isn't about whether the game is any good to you or not. This is a great thing people are doing, but everyone has to bring it down because they hate the game.
Also, it's improved a lot. Read the articles. You'll find that the game launched the way it did, not because Bungie evil and wants to steal your money, but because of development hell, and being too ambitious. Like too many other developers. The game is much improved now. With PS3/360 out the way, all the feedback gathered, D2 has the potential to be a great game.

Then I remembered buying the expansion just unlocks it, so it doesn't matter when actually buy it. I'd say about 3 weeks from now Bungie will drop another ridiculously huge patch that everyone has to download whether you own the expansion or not. Better not be fucking 20GB like The Taken King.

Yeah. I like it. A lot of people like to talk shit about cut content, but if you read the article. The Big Kotaku one. Everyone knows it. You'll see it's because it had to be done. Not, let's cut this out so we can make extra money. Few examples. The Dark Below was crunched out in 9 weeks. And boy could you tell. The Dreadnought from TTK? Was completely different in the original version. Now Rise of Iron is only coming out because they delayed D2 till fall next year. Edge Magazine broke down a lot of stuff with Bungie. Tools for making the game aren't up to par. Increasing the staff from ~150 to 600 was really hard on them. The story was re-written last minute. Now, there's always going to be people saying fuck Bungie, fuck Activision. Greedy thieves! But I don't care, if I enjoy the game, I'll buy it. Period.

Who knows... Telling you now though. Andromeda will be very similar to Inquisition. I'm willing to bet there's a handful of semi-large explorable zones. You'll go through them collecting and such. Hopefully no power gated content. Combat should be fine if it's like the old ones. Hopefully the story is good. Lead writer of Halo 4 wrote the story for it. Now he's at Bungie. And for what it's worth. I think Halo 4 had the best story. Maybe not the most interesting. I enjoyed Halo 2's the most. But Halo 4 actually had story. People joke about Destiny, but Halo 1,2, and 3 were like it too. Though not near as bad. Not many cutscenes, or dialogue.

Not after the Iraq disaster, no. The government we installed gave no voice to the opposing religious sect and it made it even worse. That along with butchering almost all of the former government.
Iraq (and Afghanistan) has made us weary to get into any conflict. At least for the next decade or so.
That and Libya. Was it to prevent genocide, or to prevent their attempt at pulling out selling oil at USD and making their own currency, the gold dinar. Wouldn't have been fun for Europe and the West.
