Serious / Re: A bit of positive Trump news

I'm not too sure if drug companies making less money is decidedly all that good.

Actually, I'd probably want the pharmaceutical industry in particular to be making as much money as possible.

It really depends where that money is going towards,
Big Pharma money is all thrown towards anti-marijuana legalization, blocking studies, and propaganda.

Serious / Do you guys have hope for space exploration in the near future?
« on: February 01, 2017, 12:57:22 PM »
Put aside all our current petty problems. Do you think anything big will happen? Mars is guaranteed. Our next closest star? Maybe one day. Maybe even another Galaxy. I have unfortunately just watched a video recently bearing sad news. Apparently, any hope of us ever leaving our Local Cluster is next to none. The galaxies within our cluster stay together. But other clusters are constantly moving farther away. By the time The Milky Way and Andromeda collide, people in that time won't even be able to see other galaxies outside our cluster their so far away. Nor will they see Cosmic Background Radiation. But ah well. That still leaves thousands of galaxies for us. Hopefully there's more than one species of intelligent life in each cluster.

ISIS is a big threat. Unfortunately, there's no way to get rid of them. If you get rid of ISIS. There's still others out there. Boko Haram, The Taliban. And more will come up. Unless most of the world gets past having a God in the near future we'll be dealing with this for a long time.

Gorsuch. I'm just waiting for the impeachment/resignation though. I like some of his ideas. He is a man of action. But I cannot support most of his actions.

Impeachment of Trump?
Yes.

I don't see any of what trump is doing working our for him in the long run. I can't see him keeping up this amount of crazy activity and lasting four years.
It won't. It just needs to last long enough for black nationals to assassinate him and ignite a civil war, all according to script.
Thanks, Israel. You guys are great writers. Oh what magnificent times we live in.
Elaborate.

That's from Playstation Access. Many other sites have previews too. Gamespot, IGN, Polygon, etc...

It sounds plausible enough. If this is true, the more that comes to light, the more push there's going to be against them. If he tries that LGBT stuff, or "self deportation" that's going to light a huge fire. Fuck, we don't need another civil war.

Have you guys noticed the box art for Titanfall 2 and Battlefield 1 are VERY similar? Just noticed it myself.

That clears it up. Doesn't sound too bad. Apparently the case of these two being held may be misunderstanding of the EO. I think.

403
Yeah, he went too far. One thing I will say. He's getting shit done. That he said he'd do. Even though I don't like the policies. If Hilary had been elected nothing would have changed and she certainly wouldn't have done anything in the time span he has. I just hope he does the good that he said he would. Like crushing ISIS. Which was armed and funded by our previous president. And bush armed the ones before them. But let's not bring that up, right? Why do people call Trump out but not the other presidents? Trump deserves to be called out on this. But no one called out Bush or Obama for numerous bad things they did.
Well you should know by now that American foreign policy = arming moderates, who later get pissed off because America did something, and they turn against them.

Bush collapsing the Iraqi government and kicking almost everyone out, including an angry military, was the most retarded thing that sped up an already destabilizing region, and thus eventually led to what we have now. Now you could argue him pulling out of Iraq was a bad thing. I'm simply saying going in the first place and handling it like it was, is what mostly got us in this fucked up mess.

I would bet money though that arming the "moderate rebels" in Syria is surely going to ISIS or ISIS affiliated factions, seeing as how they were already shady in the first place. Remember when the war first broke out and for the first two years the media was covering them like freedom fighters?

I even remember CNN doing an interview and they had some prison set up and the guy talking mentioned the one interrogating them was this massively big man who "talked to them" or something like that, when we all know what they were doing. Either way, the reporting in favor of them stopped within the next 6 months or so iirc.

But I heavily digress. If I want to round it all back in

It's mostly because Trump was outright banning people indiscriminately from these 7 countries, even though a lot of them have Visa's and other various means of getting in legally. He overreached with his powers, and the positive thing he DID sign this weekend preventing lobbying for government stuff for the next 5 years if you worked in it, will all be swept under the rug and ignored because he apparently loves the concept of "one step forward, two steps back".
It's time for that foreign policy to change. Hopefully, he'll do it. He does want to be more isolationist after all. But even if he does I could see him ramping up the military in the China Seas.

404
After all the liberties that have been taken away to "protect" us. I'm sure he can do this.

405

I put all my items up for sell on Steam. Made 70 cents so far. I'll probably do it from time to time. Why not? It will add up for those sales. I have some guns I don't want to sell though. I have one on CS that's $8

I played 20 minutes on PS4, didn't care for it. I may try to get into LoL or try HoS. I hear DOTA has a steep learning curve so I'll probably avoid it.

lmao dude Obama was the best president since Carter
Is this a joke? Carter is widely considered to be one of the worst presidents ever.
maybe "widely" by retard standards

asking someone whether or not they like Carter is a good test for if they're a moron
And who do you consider to be some of the worst then? Name 2 or 3.
1) Nixon
2) Jackson
3) Coolidge

wbu?
Warren G Harding
Richard Nixon
Lyndon B. Johnson

Do you guys consider Trump fascist?
He would be if the political system of the country he ran allowed him to be.

As such he can only try to be a fascist, but that's still pretty shitty for the next four years
So many salty people on GAF right now. Saying this is "unprecedented" He should be tried for treason. Where were these people when we had Obama and Bush? Lying and going into a war. Arming and funding terrorists... I don't like the stuff Trump is doing, but so far he's no worse than our past few presidents.

I can't really get into MOBAs. I did play a bit of LoL when it was newer though. I've heard Dota 2 is the hardest. It had 1.10 Million players on Steam today. 800K now. Fuck why is this so popular?
Cause Blizzard kept ruining Starcraft 2 and the pros turned away as with their fans, plus LoL advertised their game like it was going out of style. I don't know about DOTA 2 though, I guess everyone just migrated over from DOTA 1 in Warcraft 3.

No MOBA will ever beat SC: Brood War though. Flash vs Jaedong matches were always fun to watch. Those dudes were unreal at the game.
Starcraft is not a MOBA. Defense of the Ancients mod created the genre.

DOTAS predecessor was made on starcraft
It was. But like I said. It was a new genre. Starcraft is a RTS, not a MOBA.

Aeon of strife was a moba.
So was DOTA. That doesn't make Warcraft a MOBA, nor Starcraft.

Is the game short enough for a rental? $60 for a short single-player game seems like a lot.
You can beat it fast if you rush. I took my time and it took me almost 9 hours. Still missed quite a bit too. Don't play on Madhouse though.
