I wonder how much of the game is going to be cut for DLC and how much of the story is going to card based.
Actually if you read that big article posted last year you'll see most of the "cut content" never made it into the game. They cut the game up, threw most of it away and sold what they had. For example Oryx's ship in TTK was originally part of the original game, but it was different, and had nothing to do with Oryx. The Lighthouse area was bigger and part of a story with Osiris, instead of the treasure room it is now. So yeah, it's cut content, but not cut content in the way most people insulate.

There's too much to cover for it to be a true adaptation of the book. They would need 3 hours for a montage of Derry's bloody history alone. That book is THICK. It will have to focus on just the Losers Club. Plus the stuff tying it to the Turtle of King's other books and Shelob of LotR?
It may be good, but they can't be faithful.
...unless they're doing a joined Stephen King universe and it ties into the Dark Tower...
Just a thought
I read they're making two movies. One for each time period it seems. This is 50s, next one is 80s.

The 90s TV version was probably the first horror movie I watched. I don't have a fear of clowns but it really creeped me out.

I could care less about people's opinions on Bungie, and neither should you. If Destiny 2 is a good game, it's a good game. End of story.

MP is tons of fun.
PLAY IT, HUMANS.
I've yet to play it. Almost done with the single player though. The main story at least. I have so much side shit to do though. Like it's ridiculous. It's too much, just looking at the list makes me not want to do it. I will do some, and ignore the rest that's just garbage filler.

http://wccftech.com/naughty-dog-dev-explains-andromeda-animations/That explains it. So I get being given the chance to make a game, and you're new, you wanna make it great. But at least be realistic. This was a new team. And it is now painfully obvious they were too ambitious when beginning work on the game and halfway through, they were like "oh fuck" and went into panic mode. And it resulted in this game. Not to mention all the people that left the team in the middle of development.

I gave Andromeda a chance, thinking that the facial animation debacle was just an overreaction. Now I see why people are upset. Holy shit, the facial animations just look so Fallout 4-tier that it's not even funny.
Otherwise the game is pretty good so far.
It's very obvious the team that made DAI didn't make this. There's no way. Though if rumors are to be believed it looks like they're working conditions were awful. On top of that we already know quite a few people left.

I dont think its the same people on this team
That explains it. Though I didn't know Edmonton wasn't the main developer of DAI. DAI is better than this game in every way besides gameplay and graphics. Even certain aspects of the graphics are better. Faces, animations, no frame drops. DAI has better writing overall. By far. Though the quests in MEA are less MMO-ish like DAI had.

I only played the multiplayer trial and didn't notice anything off with animations. They actually look pretty fluid and the different races handle exactly as you'd expect.
Is it only in cutscenes?
It's mainly facial animations.

Enjoying it so far. Sucks that it isn't close to the originals though. With all those people leaving though it seemed like something was wrong. Inquisition is better than this games as far as technical performance and writing go.

I'm thinking so. Just about done with Vah Naboris. All that's left is the Rito one after that. I think I'll take my time after I beat the Rito one and do other stuff before heading off to the castle though.

Who thinks this will be DLC? As far as I know it's the only place you can't go to in game.

I've been playing the multiplayer for a couple of hours now and I have to say, the gameplay is absolutely on point. They improved on just about everything. No more clunky me3 controls and the verticality offers a lot of new experiences, but it still feels like a mass effect game. Gameplay is faster and more aggressive.
I'll certainly be picking this up just for the mp, who gives a fuck about the campaign. Free multiplayer DLC is a bonus too.
"Campaign" *shudders* The single player is the whole point. That's with this game is. A SP RPG. But hey, if you or anyone else buy it just for the MP? Go ahead, whatever I guess.

Looks like I'll be wearing a helmet the whole time. The game itself looks great. Faces and animations not so much. I heard during cutscenes the animations and lip syncing are fine, but in game like during conversations it looks off.

Speaking of projections... http://www.futuretimeline.net/
Interesting site there. Nice to read through IMO.
That's pretty cool, though it seems to be a bit more taken with cool than scientific realism. Particularly where it mentiond humans being a Kardashev I civilisation by the 23rd century, and colonies will be rolling on Mercury across the equator to stay in the Terminator Zone (there's a bunch of reasons why this is more effort than it's worth)
We do advance pretty fast. So in 200 years, maybe? We should all see the colonization of Mars and mining of our moon and asteroids before we die. That's potentially only like 20 years away.

So if Montreal made this what is Edmonton doing? The next DA maybe?

I'm sure the 5 people who still play Destiny will be happy with this news.

Great video there. Also, Nintendo is releasing a 3 part documentary. Starting tomorrow I think.

hmm I could get this game actually.
Do it. This is the best game I've played in years. The Witcher 3 holds that spot now. Zelda may take it by the time I finish the game. Zelda doesn't have as much story but it makes up for it in gameplay. There's so many interesting things to do and so many ways to accomplish whatever you want to set out to do.

I was hoping to get a piece or two of the Ancient Armor set. Nope lol. That's going to take quite some time. If you ever find yourself in Akkalla soon go to the top of the map. Also go north east to an island. That was a fun place.

23 Shrines 6 Seeds
I've really been taking my time exploring. Still have Hyrule Castle and all the land surrounding it, besides Death Mountain, to go to. Or rather, unlock the tower and start exploring.
arent you basically done the game tho
No. I've only done 1 Divine Beast lol. Most of you are far ahead of me.

I'm gonna try getting better armor. That should help. And gonna quit investing in stamina for now.

Okay so I did Zora's Domain first since it was closest. Since you're told to go to Hateno village before that. Then I thought maybe Death Mountain or the desert. Well the game is substantially harder now. Like I get destroyed constantly. Enemies take nearly all my health in one hit. What gives?
Invest in more hearts is all I can say. How many do you have?
6 or 7.

Gotta make yourself some elixirs.
Yeah there's one kind that gives you extra hearts right? Still. Maybe I need to buy better armor before anything else. I should also point out. And I just found this out. If you kill enemies a lot you'll see less of the regular colored ones and more of the tougher ones. And those are the ones I've been seeing in random spots. I can barely manage to take two out before everyone groups up and kills me.

So, how many days until it starts becoming cool to hate this game?
I've already seen lots of hate on GAF, thought lots of people loving it too. I've only played like 10 hours maybe. I'm at the village that starts with an H. Forgot the name. Love it though. Best Zelda in a long time.

Glad to see they've improved and built upon the original a lot. I liked the first one, but was like another one set in Mordor? But this video has definitely made me interested now.
