Honestly, I never really played BF. But this looks fun. I don't see why there's the hate. No space battles sucks. But they didn't look very fun from the videos I've seen. I also don't see why people say this is Battlefield with a Star Wars skin. The gunplay looks quite different. No ADS even. I will wait for reviews. But, if it ships with enough modes and maps, and works, it should be a good game. Looking at the reviews for the old ones. They scored 7s and 8s. Seems to me people are blinded by nostalgia and EA hate. But what do I know, I never played the old ones.

I was interested in it but I need to see more before I make any rash decision. Again.
big boss get off your alt
Ok.
serious response though holy shit so many games at this e3 I want
For me, Halo 5, MGSV, Horizon Zero Dawn, Ghost Recon and Battlefront. Deus Ex was disappointing, but Nintendo also released a gameplay of Pokemon Super Mystery Dungeon so I can't really complain.
Fuck you.

Ive been watching Cry play MGS3 and i gotta say, its pretty impressive as far as depth and mechanics go.
But holy fuck is it cheesy and its aware of it obviously but its just so cheesy its hard to watch.
Yeah, MGS3 is like that. That's why I prefer MGS1. It's a bit more grounded tbh. MGS2 is just... no. Fun game and interesting story, but it's just the most wat game of all time.
My first one was MGS4. The cutscenes man... My God. And shortly after I started, probably around the beginning. I'm walking around. And there's a guy in a trash can with diarrhea. I'm like what the fuck is going on. MGSV has a bit of silliness. But it seems depressingly dark too.

I really want to get into MGS, but I don't have a PS1 or PS3.
Just read a summary. Or watch someone play them. Or just jump into MGSV and get mindfucked.

Not really a fan, but modern day appears to be back as more than just a few cutscenes or a floaty iPad.
Also, memory-corridor loading screens are back.
Well, they have to finish up modern day one day. Still got Juno or whoever out and about.

Did you see the shorter trailer, where Quiet lit Snake's cigar by shooting it? Yeah, that was awesome.
Also. Do you think Skull Face is real? I heard a bunch of people saying he's not. And in the trailer you linked, he's not behind Snake, then he suddenly is...
He's definitely real. He interacts with his men, Paz and Chico in GZ, and he interacts with Ocelot in one of the new TPP trailers.
I could be wrong, obviously, but I'm more inclined to believe Ishmael isn't real, given that he's a real douchebag who doesn't help Snake up in the hospital and that he has the same voice actor.
You know what I'm talking about, right? I swear lol. He's not there, then Snake tilts his head back, or turns it rather. And then he's there.
https://youtu.be/ny5ri5SrDKQ?t=5m45s This part, right?
It's not like invisibility is impossible in the series. In TPP alone, we have Quiet and those who don't exist who regularly disappear.
Of course, this does act as useful evidence for those who think he doesn't exist. But we also cannot deny the fact that we've seen Skullface interacting with other characters before.
Yeah, that. I guess we'll find out.

I haven't really watched any gameplay. Lemon, where are you? It can't be worse than Unity.
Do any of you think it looks any good?

You guys don't understand. Destiny is evolving.
FFXIV evolved more in one patch than Destiny has in 10+ patches and 2 expansions.

Why are you porchdicks actually considering buying this
My friend already bought it for me lol. I know I'm about to get hate for this. But I'm gonna say it anyways. I think Destiny, and many other games, get a unnecessary amount of hate. Destiny was disappointing. A lot of people were expecting something different. Not just more content, but something completely different than what it was. The game has many problems. Some, I just don't even know how it happened. How did Bungie think that the story was okay? How did Bungie think that doing the same thing for every mission was okay? Why are there so few gametypes in The Crucible? Why are there no private and custom games? Stuff like that. But for whatever reason, I enjoy the game. I don't play it nearly as much nowadays. But I still find it fun. If people find it fun, let them have fun. The same can be said for COD. COD isn't really a bad game. It's just the same game as all the others. Some people, like me, got bored of it a long time ago. And some people still enjoy it. On the whole idea of cut content, I don't buy it. There were blocked off, un-finished areas. But the actual content wasn't done. Still, not that I agree that the expansions were worth it. The game has improved. And depending on how The Taken King is. I could maybe even recommend it to someone, if they were to buy the game, that comes with everything for $60. I can only hope, Destiny 2 will be Halo 2. I bet I'll get hate for this too. I liked CE, but it was kinda boring. And that mission in the snowy mountains where you're backtracking over and over. Oh God. Terrible. Then I played Halo 2. Really loved it. MP was fun. And is my favorite of all the Halos.

At least a decade from now. Looks at Killzone 2. It was a great game. Their best Killzone game, and their best game by far. They started work on it in 2004. Announced it at E3 2005. And it didn't come out till 2009. That was a linear shooter with a bit of focus on MP too. This is open world. We may never see it lol.

Yeah, I'm really interested to see how big it is. They have been working on it for 5 years. It's open world, and they say there's plenty of things to do.

If Valve ever did release it when they were supposed to, it may not have been a disappointment. It was Half Life 2: Episode 3 after all. We knew what to expect. Nothing new in other words. It wasn't a brand new game. The gameplay would be the same. Maybe improved graphics. They just needed to finish the story.

Sony showed the most games yesterday but none of them looked good. (Except Uncharted)
Thanks for sharing your opinion. Completely unrelated to the topic too.
It's not though. This was shown at Sony's E3.
If you don't think it looks good, then you could have said that, instead of bringing other games into it. Really, this is just for people to see. If you don't think it looks any good, then why bother posting?

I wasn't really interested in the uncharted collection until I saw that. Really enjoyed tomb raider reboot. Should I pick up uncharted collection and eventually this?
I'm sure you'd enjoy it. They're all great games. UC2 is the best though. It's not as dark or violent as the new Tomb Raider though.

Yeah, they really should give a discount to older players. I have the two expansions because I bought the Season Pass. Won't be buying this. Unless, later on, I find out it's worth it. But, if I don't, my friend is buying it for me. I can't convince him not to buy it for me, or him, or anyone else.

>Thousand years after the apocalypse >Didnt have guns
Id like to know why this is the case
Why would they have guns? The whole point is these humans have no memory of what happened. It happened a long time ago. Long enough for them to not know what happened. They use primitive tools. And can use some things dropped by enemies, so there's that.
What is scavenging
We need to know more first. We don't know if this is Earth in the future, or if it's their own world they made up. There may have not been guns. Also, I'd have to re-watch. But I thought the girl said they're afraid to go into the cities, or near them.

Guerrilla Games worked on the game for four and a half year. After Killzone 3 twenty developers starting to work on it. They created concepts and prototypes. After Shadow Fall was shipped, the “big team” joined, and after a year and a half they are at the stage we saw yesterday. This is “by far” the biggest game Guerrilla has ever made. The game is set a thousand years after the apocalypse. Eloy, the main character is a machine hunter, she’s about twenty year-old and she’s one of the best hunters of her tribe. There’s a lot of strategy involved in finding out how to defeat the machines. Defeating the machines lets you gather resources to craft new weapons, ammo and tools. The game is a seamless open world, there are a large variety of machines, from small like the Watchers to enormous like the Longnecks. The demo is running on PS4, and is pre-alpha. Guerrilla games always tries to make benchmark games for visuals on PlayStation platforms, but they don’t want to go backwards just because it’s open world, they want to improve graphics. A game like this is much tougher in memory and GPU, so they have been pushing the technical artists to the max. Having made an engine for Killzone: Shadow Fall was good for this game too. Prototypes used even Killzone 3 assets. After shipping Shadow Fall, the studio had its own PS4 engine, and a very mature one at that, but then had to implement streaming, and it took a lot of effort to set that up properly, especially with this amount of detail and content. Yet, now the game is running, and the studio wants to build it further up. The game’s RPG elements include hunting the machines for resources (beginning with smaller ones to then be able to fighting bigger ones). Crafting is a key component of the game. The game has also “a lot” of quests. The game is “a new horizon” for Guerrilla Games, and they hope to build it in “a fantastic franchise.” What we’re seeing now is just the tip of the iceberg. There’s “so much more stuff” Guerrilla is going to reveal in time, and they’re really looking forward to show more.

The lead cinematic artist from CDPR is at GG now. So is the quest designer and lead technical adviser. And the lead writer from New Vegas and Shadow Of Mordor.
