"Skill-based matchmaking"

LOL you fucked up EA

In a all-out warfare styled game?

Why is anyone even still hyped for this piece of cancerous trash?
Because it looks good?
Did you ever play Battlefront 2?
Tiny tiny bit. I know, I know... No space battles. Sucks, but I'll get over it. Went looking at some footage earlier too. Honestly, space battles, and the "campaign" looked pretty bad.

That's what I was trying to say. Destiny has average reviews across the board. With a few high ones. Far from the best received game last year. Though I really can't think of many that scored really high. AAA games that is. Besides DAI.

I'm not necessarily buying it because a critic gives it a good score. Player reviews are more important to me.
Destiny is one of the most well received games of last year.

Reviews mean nothing.

Never even heard of most of those.

You're joking right? Destiny has a 76 Metacritic score. That's pretty low. Meaning, most reviews were average. Yes, some high score, some low scores, but most are average. Not to mention, it's all subjective. Say for example Destiny was a great game, loaded with content, tons of stuff, got amazing reviews and GOTY awards everywhere. If someone doesn't like FPS games, they wouldn't like it. Or if it's full of RPG elements. You can actually see this in reviews for games. Such as "I like it, but there's too much story" Witcher 3 There goes 1 point. It's all subjective. And there's several people I trust in, for reviews. Not a major reviewer like IGN. IGN gave Destiny like a 6, or was it GameSpot? Either way, I can use the majority of reviews to gauge the game.

COD isn't actually a shit game. I don't like it, but some of the reviews for those are fairly accurate. If Black Ops 3 was my first COD ever I'd probably love it. You just can't say reviews mean nothing. As I said, it's each persons opinion. There's a group of people at IGN, who love Destiny and play it lots. And one one of the videos they were talking about it, and other people there hated or, or at least didn't care for it. Just because someone at IGN gives a game a 10, doesn't mean everyone thinks it deserves that. If someone finds something fun, then what can you say? Are you going to make fun of them for playing a game they like?

Just what I think. Kinda tired, sorry if that's kinda repetitive.

Still buying, depending on reviews. No server browser is disappointing. As long as it's not P2P though. Space Battles don't care. Watched footage of them in the older game and it looked awful. So did single player. This looks like a good game to me. As long as it works, and has enough maps and modes.

Favorite mission is the opening. Finally finished it today. "Truth"

Least favorite is mission 43 by far. For the third time, FUCK mission 43!

The opening isn't as fun when you need to replay it because you didn't get an S-Rank :(
I didn't think the opening had a rank at all.

A lot of those concepts are really old. But they said a little while after they revealed the game, that they decided not to make it with so much fantasy. I think it would have been cool though.

Yay. Also, that's one of the first people we talk to in the game. He's the guy at White Orchard who ask to play Gwent with you. Bastard, should have killed him there.

You guys are haters. MGS4 didn't have a terrible story. I can't really say if I think it has a better story than TPP, or if I just think that, because it has more story.

Spoiler
Also. Went to Paz today. Saw that flashback. So, the Medic and Big Boss were there, but, it showed the Medic looking like Big Boss. And it appeared he was talking to Paz by the door when she was on the table. Can someone explain? Also, no spoilers please, big ones, but where's this mission where you have to kill your men? Haven't found that yet. Did a mission where I went and got Code Talkers stuff today. And rescued some of the kids that escaped. Also, saw the scene where Quiet talked.

Just "finished" it. Beat Mission 31. Credits rolled. Then it showed Chapter 2, with Quiet Torture scenes and stuff. Anyone confirm that there's actually new story and cutscenes? Because so far, the 2 new missions I have are repeats with modifiers on.

Spoiler
Yes, there's about 12 more story missions.

Chapter 2 is much better than the first, IMO. Not good, but better.
I was a bit confused as to why they'd roll credits when the story isn't over.

Nothing special. There's basically no games for BC anyway.
Are Gears 1-4 out yet? Just bought UE, 44 fucking gigs though.

Gears 4 is a 2016 game, so no. 1, 2 and 3 are playable though.

Gears is bad though
Yeah, my bad, I meant Judgement.

Is there a way of opening doors slowly? Snake just slams them open... and alerts guards, damnit
Pretty sure if you slowly walk, he'll slowly open, walking he'll open it fast, and running he'll slam it open.

Nuke? I want one!, You can tell me about Chapter 2, no huge spoilers though. And yeah, let me know if you like what you find behind that door.

Spoiler
Yeah, at the end of the game you can choose to either create a Nuke and risk having it stolen, or devote your entire crew to getting rid of them. It's pretty cool and should make for interesting FOB missions.

Chapter 2 introduces harder versions of some older missions, but also shows us brand new missions as well. In total, there's probably like 12 missions after Chapter 1 concludes.

As for what's behind the door, I've got to get some more photos from the old days. I just don't know where to get them.

And I like how they rendered Ground Zeroes a flashback, and that's why the memory was so fucked.

I'll have a better opinion on it soon, I just experienced it afterall.
No I mean, did you find something you were looking for? I don't want to spoil it for you. I can just give a name if you want.

Spoiler
Paz? Yeah.
Spoiler
Making sure. I haven't seen it yet, so I'll look into it. Do they offer an explanation. No one survives a vagina bomb.

Spoiler
Oh, I'm sorry. I was under the impression you already knew what happens in there.

Damn, I feel like an idiot.

Yeah, the explanation isn't explicitly stated. Come to me when you want to know, I have the answer.
Alright, I'm gonna be playing this for awhile. Looks like there's a lot to uncover later on. My friend bought me TTK so I'd play with him(I know) But then... Fallout 4. Fuck everything else. Inb4bethesda

It makes me wonder how much different Chapter 2 is. I could be wrong, but I think Chapter 2 is just replaying all the missions again, but it will be harder, with stuff like no reflex, less health, and stuff like that.

I'll tell you if you want.

Also, I think I found the Medical Platform door you were talking about, I just can't open it for some reason. It's on the second floor, and a beeping noise occurs when I approach it.

Quote
By the way, do you know if FOBs are open? I don't think I've had a chance to make one yet, unless I'm missing something. I know MGO is delayed, but I thought FOBs would be out on launch.

Servers are fucked ATM, but the feature only occurs when in online mode.

I'm glad

I've been given enough time to work on my nuke
