I like how you need to pay real money for bags in order to get the masks you need to complete the quests.
Unless I'm mistaken, you can just fill the first bag over and over again.
You can.

You don't. That would be a faster way to get the masks though.

Wasn't gonna get on today. Saw this and I did. They released another Crucible map too. Free to everyone, if you have TTK. I gotta go to sleep soon. This 4AM shift No more staying up late. As soon as I get home tomorrow, it's Halo 5 and nothing else for weeks.

Here's my thoughts. I haven't played the game yet. But it's probably one of the best Halos. MP is looking great. Warzone looks great, and all the reviews say so too. The Single Player. If it's just as good as Halo 4, or better. Then it's fine. Halo 4 had the best SP of all Halos. Story wise. This looks no different. Criticizing the story because you don't know the lore isn't a valid argument as far as I'm concerned.

Well, not shit exactly. Just meh. A 7 out of 10. Most of the reviews are good so far.

The title is binary and translates to Muerte. Or Death in English. When using a spectograph, you can see images. One of them is a woman being tortured, another is a skull. And the words "You are already dead, you have a year, or less" The morse code he does with his hand spells out REDLIPSLIKETENTH. Possible anagram for kill the president. There's also GPS Coordinates to the whitehouse in the video. There's more but I don't feel like saying it all. Anyways. Video was found on some DVD lying around in Spain. It was filmed in Poland. By who and why, nobody knows.

Bungie did say at GDC that they had a hard time with the engine. Making it at least. They spent more time on the engine than the actual game I think. They also said it wasn't where they wanted it so they could iterate fast, which they cannot.
And this does seem to be true. Look at The Reef, or The Lighthouse. Both shown in 2013, even though they look different now. As that thread on Reddit said last year, the cut content was finished, and changed, and sold as DLC instead of throwing it away.

Now correct me if I'm wrong. But why do you need Forge for custom games? Surely you can play customs on the 21 maps at launch.

Way more than a few assets. Saturn for example looks way different and again. When they showed Vestian Oitpost in the reveal it likely served and entirely different purpose.
Now. As I was saying about DLC. You're not getting what I'm saying. If they start working on DLC before launch. It wasn't supposed to be part of the game. They don't want it to be part of the game. That's why they make a new group of people. And tell them them to work on new stuff while everyone else finishes the game. Why would you wait until your game launches to make new content? By all means squeeze as much in as you can. But when you're done you don't sit on your butt for a month working on patches t fix bugs. You do that. Hopefully while also making new content.

I Said in my post that the game was delayed. I know this. Content developed before launch doesn't mean cut content. It's a different team with the complete intention of developing content that comes after the game while the rest of the developers work on the original game. And at a certain point you can't really add anymore to a game. You have to stop and send it off to be finished.
All that stuff like The Reef and Saturn in Destiny served an entirely different propose. It was cut content. As in its gone. It's obvious they reworked it, or as you said. Reimagined it. But they didn't cut it t sell to you.
Like go look at the Vestian Outpost in that reveal video. Completely different. Same thing as The Citadel. Completely changed after the HoW update.
And Prehistoric. Maybe you should quit being paranoid and take off the tin foil.

You people are fucking stupid, tbh
:^|
"Why pay for content that I'm not getting when I buy it?"
we are getting it
His point is you're paying for something that isn't coming with the game. You will get it, eventually, but not when you pay for the game. Not that it matter. It will be added to the game later. No extra charge. Who freaking cares? Really getting tired of these people going around like they're enlightened telling people to wake up and that the gaming industry is satan. Go back to Info Wars you fggts.
A generation of overly critical and entitled gamers is being born.
Shitty practices should be frowned on but this is just nitpicky
Agreed. Let's talk about supposed "cut content" A lot of people believe all DLC for any game is cut content. Once the cut content train on Destiny got rolling, even more people talk about it now. The fact is, most gamers don't know how game development works, and definitely don't know the situation for each individual studio. Let's talk Destiny. For whatever reason(Activision is Satan is usually the scapegoat), the story was changed, substantially, so much so that it resulted in a year delay. It's highly like entire gameplay systems were removed, and even more likely locations were removed. Why did it happen? Who knows... After that, several people left, like Joe Staten. With less than a year to polish up the game and salvage what they can, it's no surprise the game came out the way it did. Like other companies, Bungie started work on DLC and the sequel before the original game even came out. There were areas within the game, that were mostly empty, but you could get into it. With how the content worked, using empty areas for a mission with a few recorded lines of dialogue would make development much easier. The fact that people could get into those areas before the DLC came out, led people to think that it was cut content. Nevermind the fact that the areas changed after the update. And for some reason, people seem to believe they just unlocked with that 9MB file on the PS or Xbox Store. But don't pay attention to the 8GB update beforehand on TBD and HoW, and the 18GB update on TTK. Wether or not the content is worth it is an entirely different story. But it wasn't cut. That's for sure. Add to the fact that the database had pretty much nothing in it, until after the updates, well, there you go. Arkham Knight. A lot of people were mad at the $40 season pass, even though it's cheaper than a lot of others. And also, just assume, cut content. But again, don't take into consideration that the DLC was in development before original launch, and some of the DLC is even outsourced to other companies to make. I try explaining this to so many people, but it falls on deaf ears. Gotta love how I'm called blind and they think they're so smart.

Okay, if this game ends like Halo 2 I think I'm gonna be pretty upset. Notice in the trailer how it says "Experience the BEGINNING of the greatest hunt in gaming history"? Or am I just interpreting that wrong?
It's obviously going to span multiple games. The Locke chasing Chief arc will be finished by Halo 5's ending though. I can guarantee you this, because it's pretty obvious.
Eh, I just don't want a huge cliffhanger. 343 says this game will change the galaxy in HUGE ways. I can see it now, whatever the threat is that Chief is trying to stop, Locke will realize this at the end of Halo 5. They'll team up. The end.
A cliff-hanger is unavoidable.
Glad you mentioned that. Linear games such as Halo 5 are always short. It's not until you get to big RPGs where it's really long, when in actuality, the game may not be that long story wise, but all the time you spend wandering around and doing things, adds up.
I hope one day, a studio gives us a fairly lengthy linear game. Imagine if Halo 5 was 30-40 hours? Now, making a game like that would be hard, and they'd have to be really careful with the story, not to pad it out and throw in filler. But I'd be willing to try it.
40 hour Halo = No cliffhanger
Nobody would want to play 40 hours of the same linear game .
A cliff-hanger in Halo 5 is unavoidable, unless they decide to downsize the plot and story and rush it in an 8 hour game.
Took me 18 hours to beat TLOU. If the story is good, the locations are fun and enjoyable, and gameplay is full of variety, why not?
Because it's difficult to write a 40 hour story. Players will lose interest.
What the hell were you doing in TLoU for it to take almost 20 hours?
Well I did do the hardest difficulty. But I'm not sure. I explored everything. I hear average time is 14-16 hours anyways. I've beat it in 10 myself.

It doesn't matter if you're paying $60 for Halo 5 without Forge, because it will be released later. They're not charging you. Do you not see how dumb that sounds? Make me pay $40 for the game, and $20 for Forge when you could buy the game for $60 and get Forge for free a few months later. "We already have their money, why would we need to put effort into forge?"
It's called incentive. Educate yourself.
The entire reason Forge isn't out on launch is because they're putting effort into it. The only other option is a delay, and there's no point in that.

Well there's certinally none close by. But we know how our planet was created. And we know how we were created. The building blocks for life exist elsewhere. If the right conditions exist, it can happen anywhere. There's plenty of theories. Like, we came into the Universe pretty late, and most other species have died off. Or that every species always has a limit and ends up destroying themselves. I'm sure there is intelligent life out there somewhere, maybe even in our galaxy. But for now, we don't know.

What's surprising about this? BF4 is $50 for all DLC too. Though I didn't buy BF4 till the premium edition came out. Got the game and all DLC for $60. If people really don't want to pay a lot. Just wait a year. Nothing new here.

I miss it so much. Just read this.
Resistance: Fall of Man featured a multiplayer mode for up to 40 players online and up to 4 players offline.
Multiplayer games had little to no latency (subject to player's connection and host location), even while playing the 40 player online due to the implementation of dedicated servers across the PlayStation Network.[4]
The multiplayer version of the game also enabled players to create their own clan, create their own matches (custom games) or join pre-set games (Ranked Games). While in games, players could talk to their team mates by using a Bluetooth or USB headset. Text chat was also enabled in pre-game lobbies.
The online multiplayer had an integrated friends system which allowed players to add one another without becoming friends on the PSN. The online friends list showed a player's friend to be either In Lobby, staging or in-game. From here players could Invite to Game, Invite to Party or Send a Message. This in game system allowed for user-friendly interaction between friends and bypassed the need for players to exit the game to talk to friends; a feature that was absent from most other PS3 titles, until system firmware 2.40 was released.
That was in 2006. And a launch title at that. Not even the "launch window" deal but first day of release launch title.
This game was ahead of it's time for PS3 games. I hope I'm not the only fan here.

Can't really tell if you're serious.
Look at the sources you sheep. It's all there for you if you take the time to look.
Your sources are an absolute joke, and prove nothing.
Not even sure what you are trying to prove here.
Those are just two sources. You can find the same thing just by Googling it. You'll have thousands of sources.
