I'm helping all 4 Factions. No point in not doing all the quests until you have to choose one over the other three.

Well, this takes place "long after the original trilogy". So, really, they could be thousands and thousands of years into the future. With The Reapers gone and the galaxy untied, imagine what was accomplished. Hmm, makes me wonder. Imagine if the Reapers never existed. Or Leviathans. All these countless species that were destroyed. The galaxy would be quite different.

Here's a theory.
Spoilers by the way. Halo 5 opens with a voice overed exchange between Spartan Locke and Catherine Halsey. The conversation reads "Spartan Locke... I have spent enough years with ONI to know the truth, once this is over, after all I have done... They'll order you to kill us both." During the voice over, a scene plays out where Halsey walks through an underground ONI base and enter her office. We know its hers by the picture of her daughter, the journal she places on the table and the presence of an AI in a containment pedestal. Catherine removes a storage cylinder and places it in the pedestal before revealing an AI smiling up at her. She smiles back and then twists the cylinder storing the AI inside. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xmRm2LHJB-o This scene is then followed up by a spectacular mountainside intro for Fireteam Osiris and the intro is completey forgotten in the hubbub that follows. This scene is intriguing however because it doesn't seem like anything important is being shown. A couple of questions begin to take place. When is this happening? Where is this happening? And who is the AI? It is reasonable to assume that this video takes place on Reach, during or prior to the Covenant invasion. However the final question is a bit of a mystery. Like many players I assumed that this was Cortana, until I stumbled across this fact while poking around the Halo Nation Wiktionary. http://halo.wikia.com/wiki/Kalmiya "Kalmiya was a Smart artificial intelligence construct created by Dr. Catherine Halsey. She served as a host for prototype routines to test the software intrusion routines and software that would later be integrated into the specialized AI, Cortana. In a sense, Kalmiya was Cortana's older "sister." UNSC protocol demands that prototypes such as Kalmiya must be destroyed promptly after their material goes into general use. Dr. Halsey promptly disobeyed this order. She kept Kalmiya around, likely because her previous AIs, Déjà and Cortana, had been reassigned (to an unknown position and as John-117's attaché, respectively.) Kalmiya resided in Halsey's office in ONI's CASTLE Base. She was left there with Dr. Halsey during the Fall of Reach and proved very useful in helping Halsey and her SPARTAN-IIs escape the facility. She was somewhat disturbed, though, when Dr. Halsey used a hidden fail-safe to destroy Colonel Ackerson's personal AI, Araquiel: she asked if her own code included such a fail-safe. Dr. Halsey carefully told her (Kalmiya would possibly stress-analyze her voice to verify that she wasn't lying) that not every A.I. had the fail-safe, which was the truth, just not the whole truth. Kalmiya had to be destroyed as part of Operation: WHITE GLOVE to prevent the Covenant from collecting any information in the base. Dr. Halsey activated the fail-safe in her Riemann Matrix, revealing to her that not every A.I. has such a fail-safe, only the ones that matter." So is the AI shown in the beginning really Cortana, or is it Kalmiya? A third possibility present itself when this piece of lore comes in. We learn from a different page that during the Fall of Reach Cortana was "split" during the fall of Reach "On August 3, Halsey split Cortana into two, assigning her "copy" to work on the decryption of the Forerunner data in the underground facility below Sword Base, while her other half would prepare for the Spartans' mission." We assume that this copy is the one which Noble team delivers to the EDIT: Pillar of Autumn prior to the events of Halo 1. These leads us to four possiblities 1) Throughout the games, Cortana has been 100% Cortana and the scene in the beginning is just meant to show us a bond between Creator and Created (keeping with the theme of the game) 2) Throughout the games, Cortana hasn't been Cortana but Kalmiya her sister AI. 3) When Cortana was split, she never recovered her other half and has been incomplete the entire series. 4) When Cortana was split she was somehow recombined with Kalmiya to form one AI which may be responsible for her erratic behavior in Halo 5. 1075

What's the appeal of sports games? Same shit every year and lolsprorts
People enjoy them. Same with Fallout. They've released newer games like it, such as Pillars Of Eternity. The reviews that game got, along with it's sales show an obvious interest for it. You said the game was slow. And? Here's the thing. You don't like it. So you won't see the appeal of it. You like it or you don't. 1080
