I don't care that it wasn't super stealthy or deep, it was made to be an over the top balls to the wall hack and slash and I feel it accomplished that perfectly.

I fucking adore this game. It's got a kickass soundtrack, (mostly) memorable characters and fun as hell combat. Blade mode is also so much fun to play through.

It's not perfect however, the level design could get a bit bland sometimes and the camera often screwed you over. he console release also suffered from a lack of a boss rush mode. (Seriously, the main reason I replay it is to fight the bosses again.)

The final boss is also perfection. It may be meme tier but by god does it go all out with the maximum hamminess and chaotic nonsense. I love Armstrong.



Discuss why Metal Gear Rising was fun. I also want a sequel. Please.

My final project hand in date is in 8 hours and I'm trying to cram in as much as I can before then. I've done quite a bit but I wouldn't be surprised if I scrape by with a low mark.
