I'm at Route 111 right now. Ricky is only 3 levels off evolving and Len is level 20. Should I focus on Len so I can beef him up for the Flannery fight? I'm fucking dreading the Torkoal. Might go and catch a Magikarp and evolve it to Gyarados just for the extra water backup.

Spoiler
I did.
The biggest heartbreak. I also lost Poochyena and Wingull, but I never really used them anyway. I'm hoping to find another Poochyena or Mightyena later on for Mossdeep.

The Wattson fight was a fucking bloodbath. I was not prepared. At all.
Oh, shit.

YEAH, all the Gen III gyms are pretty fucking brutal. Wattson tends to be one of the worst for everybody.

Battle spoilers
I lost half my team. Combusken got paralysed and brought down to red so I had to switch out just to heal him. RIP

Not sure if I can catch anymore Zigs.

If I already have a Pokemon and it dies, am I allowed to catch it if its the first Pokemon to appear in a later route?

Just beat Brawly. That was some divine intervention level shit right there, even moreso than that early Poochyena fight.

I'll describe it down below in a spoiler if you want to read, unless you'd rather wait

Spoiler
After whittling down Hariyama's health with my Dustox, he ended up healing it and nearly killing Dustox so I switched into Zubat. I didn't really have much in the way of offensive capabilities so I just stuck with the Supersonic/Astonish Combo. We were both in red health and I had 2 hp left. He had already used about 2 Bulk Ups so he had a huge attack stat, and would have likely destroyed my team so Zubat was basically my last line of defense. On the final turn I gambled it on a Supersonic and he ended up finishing himself off.

Fucking awesome.

I'd probably have a decent chance it too since I have a workable team now
Yeah, same, I barely knew what I was doing when it came to team building in Gen 5, I could actually compete well now
The only PWT thing I managed to beat (apart from the mandatory one) was the Hoenn gym leaders, and I faced Wattson in the final who used a Plusle and Minun, for some reason...

I'd love a return

The archers are a good example of one of the points during a game where no matter how good I am, I panic and end up fucking up, leading to a string of failures until I finally get in the zone and ace it. Happens quite a bit, especially on bosses :(

4583
I really can't wait until Verb gets to this part.

(Don't click Verb)
Spoiler

You can look at this now Verb. You passed this point

Can confirm

is safe

Training? Why even nuzlock if you're not gunna yolo suicide mission it

I don't want to immediately die

If I catch a level 4 at the end of a route right before the next down it'll be a bit pointless, I at least want to be a similar level to the next area

Also, format-wise, I recommend that you name each spoiler tag, like so:

Part 1
Part 2
Part 3
Part 4
Part 5
Part 6
Part 7
Part 8

you don't have to, but i think it looks a lot cleaner

Fuck I never actually knew how to do a named spoiler

thank you

RIP Wade

Protip: When it comes to training shrimpy 'mons, I'd recommend switch training them until they learn at least another move.

I don't wanna influence you too much, but yeah, that'll save you a lot of avoidable deaths.

Also, maybe I'm just blind, but your dialogue can be a little difficult to read in certain panels. The letters kinda squish together, and I have to take a moment to figure out what it says. Maybe increase the panel size to give you more room?

I do try with the text but my tablet is being kind of unresponsive. I'm thinking about possibly switching to the text tool instead so it's a bit clearer.

Might just restart the program and see if it speeds up a bit.

And yeah I'm grinding a bit so I don't just immediately faint as soon as I begin. Wade dying was really unexpected though...
