I have a little wooden box I keep some art stuff in. Felt like decorating it, here is what it's like so far

Sometimes I wish I actually had its power. I could slap annoying people in the face and then skip ahead to them not noticing.
What? That's stupid. They'd still feel pain.

King Crimson removes the cause of the cause and effect.

They wouldn't know it was me though, would they?

Tbh I read a pretty shitty can of Vento. KC's power wasn't very well explained to me. I'm pretty sure it was the same team that Duwang'd part 4.

It irritates me that people focus on the difficulty so much. I blame the marketing, they REALLY pushed the fact that the game is challenging. Whenever a new game was released, all people focused on was the fact that it was hard.

Like yeah, ignore the combat and exploration and lore and characters. Go ahead and promote the difficulty a bit more.

Early in Bloodborne I head Septy say "oh. I just died. Somethimg grabbed me from the air." Never stood still anywhere afterwards unless it was by a lamp. After killing Rom the whole game makes me uneasy. Those amygdalas and the purple sky... I had to detor to Cainhurst because Unseen Village is 2spooky.

Have you made it to the Yahargul Chapel lamp yet? The bit after that is fucking irritating.

Ya ok

Nice.

There's an abandoned tower just up the hill from my flat. Mostly apartments.
Gonna go up with a few buddies later, maybe take some pictures and share.

Please do, I love places like that

3706
I don't know if you're intentionally setting up shots, but you have an eye for really nice looking shots

Thank you, tbh most of them are just me standing around taking photos of things but some of them I tried to make look real pretty. Due to the lighting situation in there I had a shitload of duds and these are the good ones

3707
Wow the movie theater is fucking awesome dude. Nice pictures.

Thanks, my photos don't really do it much justice due to just having a phone+torch.

http://www.derelictplaces.co.uk/main/leisure-sites/33965-elysium-theatre-swansea-2016-a.html This thread has proper photos, the place is fucking amazing inside.

3708
Did you take anything home with you?

Fuck that, I aint taking any cursed shit.

My friend did find a stack of bingo card books and took them though.

Street Fighter V:

Because Shitcom is an absolute joke of a company, this game has sooo many issues that need to be ironed out ASAP for Season 2. It's hard to pick just one thing, but I think the DLC characters desperately need a balancing overhaul. They're all pretty bad.

I don't play many Crapcom (I just made that up) games so what's the shit that they pull?

I want to know if I hate them more than Konami, because I fucking HATE Konami.

Pokémon RBY: The sheer amount of grinding it takes for the vast majority of Pokémon to learn one single good move in this generation is unbelievable. I have this Psyduck who only knows Scratch and Tail Whip, and it's level thirty-fucking-one. This alone is worse than anything else you could criticize about Generation I. At least the glitches are fun to fuck around with.

I was playing Yellow and accidentally deleted Pikachu's Thundershock before I fought Misty. Grinding him all the way to learn Thunderbolt was NOT enjoyable.

Bloodborne: Grinding Blood vials can be irritating until you unlock the best farming spot

Where might this be

Mergo's Loft Middle in the Nightmare of Mensis, the lamp you unlock after beating Micolash. If you sprint and lure the two pigs over to the Shadows of Yarhnam and cause them to fight, you start getting fuckloads of blood echoes and vials.

I watched the whole thing unsubbed. Did I miss any important dialogue?

Also that next episode preview was super abrupt.

I've struggled with beating every Souls game after DaS1. Not out of difficulty, but I either start to dislike the game after a point (DaS2) or the atmosphere creeps me out too much (Bloodborne).

Probably should try digging my heels in and trying anyway, but it would just be a chore at that point.

Play Bloodborne with someone. Helps ease the tension. Fisting pigs also provides some release.
I don't mean that it creeps me out in a 2spoopy way, I just hate looking at spiders. They're just revolting.

Queelag doesn't put me off for some reason, though. The hairy legs make me shiver, but the face isn't duper spidery.

I imagine amygdala might be a problem

The Flood / Explored an old cinema near me today and visited another church
« on: November 05, 2016, 04:38:53 PM »
The Elysium Cinema in Swansea. It opened on the 11th of  April 1914 and its single auditorium was designed by Ward & Ward of the Strand, London and seated 900 in Circle and Stalls.

The building was also home to the Swansea Dock Workers Hall, a working man's club that was later home to the Labour party of Swansea.

It closed in 1960 and became an independent bingo club which had closed by 1994. After that, the labour club portion of the building remained open for about 4 years until it closed, and has remained that way ever since.

Now onto the pictures!

Spoiler

Sorry pics are a bit crap, it was dark as hell in there and hard to focus. I'll put up church photos when I've gone through them

Alright, here's the church. It's called Dinas Noddfa, don't know as much about this one.

This was by far the hardest Souls/Borne boss I have ever fought

It's so funny to me how people experience the game differently. That boss is seriously cake. As soon as you figure out how to parry him you can run through him.

This motherfucker made me seriously consider suicide. I actually stopped playing the game for three months because of him.

He was way too aggressive for me. After the Ebrietas, Watchdog and Amygdala fights I thought the worst was over but then this R1 spamming motherfucker gave me the worst time. The Headless Bloodletting beast was a pushover.

I wasn't suggesting you needed help, I just really enjoy the co op. I'm fucking terrible at pvp
Right, fair enough. I think I'm fairly close to beating the game at the moment, so if I ever want to do the DLC or a second playthrough or whatever, I'll ring you up.

I'm sure you can't be worse than me at PvP, given that I know literally nothing about it.

That would be better, I have a character thats around lvl 80 and just started NG+ so should be good

Hey Verb, if you wanna co op sometime I can help you
No, I'm fine. It's literally just a scheduling issue--the game itself isn't giving me trouble, really.

I could totally just play the game and not update my thread at all, but I don't think that would be as fun.

I'd be down for PvP though, I guess. That's something I should try out to get the full experience or whatever.
