Super Saiyan 2 was never really meant to be a "5th grade". all the other grades were the idea that Vegeta first stated, to ascend beyond a Super Saiyan, but they failed. they did not truly ascend.
that's what it all built up to. Gohan truly ascended beyond a Super Saiyan, unlike all the others. Super Saiyan 2 was the next level, the other 'grade' forms were just forced power increases on the original form.
Yeah, they worked towards mastering the full powered form of the SSJ1 and that's how they were able to sit comfortably as blondes in the days leading up to the cell games. Gohan was the first one to break through to the next stage

I've never seen the appeal to him. First he's like a Mary Sue fanfic character and then quickly becomes stupid and impotent.

Tbh I fucking hate Trunks as a kid. Never liked the pink hair and thought he was lame. Rewatching it when I was older changed my mind.

but future trunks is dope. with the sword and jean jacket and long hair (his verb bowlcut never sat well with me).
future gohan is also dope.
I accidentally left out a D, I meant to say I hated him when I was a kid. Kid Trunks himself isn't all that great though.

what's wrong with GT, again? as far as i'm concerned it embodies the best of both dragon ball and dragon ball z animes without all the filler in a concise, two-season run. far less asspulls than dbz and dbs (from what i can tell).
super saiyan 4 is a sweet transformation, super 17, baby vegeta and shadow dragons were all pretty cool. gogeta being canonized was nice too.
so whats the deal
The negative effects of Dragon Balls was a cool ass idea and loved the Shadow Dragons. Baby was a good villain. Super 17 was just meh.

Are they just for blood echos or something
And why did I see Rom in one of them
The Materials needed for making a new chalice can be found as loot in the dungeons and ocasionally dropped by enemies. Defiled is a nightmare.
Rom caught me off guard, I wasn't expecting it yet I beat it first attempt
I need some Bastards of Loran
But what are they from a story perspective

I believe the only chalice you need to beat towards platinum is the final Pthumeru one, which you unlock by defeating defiled. There's a weapon in there you can grab that counts towards weapon master trophy

Headless Bloodletting Beast and Defiled Watchdog were tough. Easily the two hardest dungeon bosses. Amygdala is easy to read, so doesn't quite make the cut.
Other than that they were relatively easy. I know the chalice dungeons had mixed opinions, but they were the most fun I've had in Bloodborne.
Headless Bloodletting felt like a walk in the park after Ebrietas, Watchdog and Pthumerian Descendant. I mean it was still difficult, but I found it WAY more manageable.

If you like Dark Souls combat but prefer it to be way faster page I see no reason to not like Bloodborne. It's risky as hell but ohhh so satisfying.

I found them pretty rough. The Great Isz version of Ebrietas was a fucking nightmare and the Pthumerian Descendant nearly made me eat my controller. Defiled Watchdog and Amygdala weren't as bad as I thought they would be, just had to be very patient.

Ok so in addition to my question, what are everyone's thoughts on the game as a whole?
At the time it came out? Pretty overhyped. Otherwise it's a pretty nice game. Great visuals and alternate costumes, decent story, the Arkham Knight has a pretty fucking cool design.
The Batmobile missions were ass though, and Rocksteady's use of Hush and Deathstroke was just disgusting.
I find racing in the Batmobile alright, the tank mode missions get irritating. Also, fuck that final Riddler race. Goddamn.
