Devil May Cry 3
Dark Souls 1
For personal enjoyment all of the above but throw MGR, Wind Waker and Pokemon Emerald into the mix because I do enjoy playing those more

I think I mainly hate fanboys in general. Though the way Zelda 'fans' have been reacting to some of the negativity is hilariously retarded. Puts me off it a bit. I don't really care if the game is built around something, if it personally annoys me it's going to bring my opinion of the game right down. I don't think it would even be in my top 10 favorite games to be honest.
I don't really think (most) people have a problem with lowered scores and unfavourable opinions, but rather, how they are portrayed. Turkey has brought up several good points about the game's flaws, but it's never got on my nerves. Whereas you just say "it personally annoys me" without any sort of legitimate explanation (not saying that what you're saying annoys me, it's just a for-instance.)
People are okay with a game they like being less-liked by someone else as long as that lowered opinion is earned, I guess.
Breakable weapons personally annoy me because I hate having to stop and change weapons mid combat because my weapon has broken and I need to change. It takes me out of it and causes me to lose enjoyment. Better?

Ok so I've seen some pretty awful reactions to people disliking things about BOTW. Jim Sterling even got DDOSED because some angry children couldn't accept his opinion of the game, real mature. I've even seen people get offended when anyone thinks the game is perfection and doesn't rate it a 10/10
Is it possible to talk about the things we dislike about the game without someone getting mad over it? Go ahead.
I'll start, I thought the game lacked an interesting villain and weapon degradation annoys me.

Okay so I was struggling like fuck against that first Ice Dog boss in DMC3 but for some reason within the first 30 seconds he did that dash attack to me and got dragged back really slowly. My sword started dealing MASSIVE damage against it, WAY more than usual. Is that normal? I suddenly beat him way easier o_O

because breath of the wild is fantastic and fresh whereas dark souls 3 while good was just more of the same
