I thought that they were like soft little capsules of potato, I had no idea beans were just their own thing.

Weird.

Ghis wasn't that bad... I just kinda hung back and had Vaan keep healing everyone while Basch knocked Ghis around.

One of the worst parts of the game

I think I gotta fight Ghis soon. I just freed Ashe from the cell and now the ship is on alert. I'm just grinding in the hallway near the save crystal

I'm looking for a new one. I guess I'll post any cool ones I find.

Have you tried going anywhere near the bird that dropped you off?
Yeah, nothing happens.
Look around up there.

I'm not being too spoilery am I?
Nah, something always felt fishy about that crow to me anyway. I'll snoop around there later.

Oh, okay good. There IS something up there. You mentioning the slab reminded me of it haha

Have you explored much of Firelink Shrine?
There doesn't seem to be a whole lot to explore, but I'm currently in the Catacombs, if that answers your question.

I stumbled upon this place WAY WAY back when I first got here, and only now am I strong enough to be heading through it.

That was a satisfying end, the feeling of being so close to winning but also nearly dying is such a rush

Most people just chuck on full Havel and wail on them, good job for not doing that
Is that the easy method you were talking about?

Yeah. Havel's set tanks their hits like its nothing so you just jog towards them and smack them until they die

The Flood / Heard a loud ass plane flying over
« on: July 12, 2017, 06:29:59 AM »
It sounded a lot louder than usual so I stuck my head out my window to see what was up there, and the plane was tiny. I was a bit confused, but upon further inspection it was just a seagull. The plane was out of sight.

Strange times my friends.

Oops wrong forum, oops.

What have you done during this time to move on?

Sitting there hoping things will work out and we'd get back together. Not anymore though. It's taken me this long.

I get probably 5 minutes worth of enjoyment out of the bayformer films, whenever they briefly reference something from other transformers stuff that isn't completely awful

Transformers 1- Give it some leniency because it was the first one and the visuals and soundtrack are great.
Transformers 2- Had a few cool looking moments, the forest fight was fun and I love New Divide
Transformers 3- I actually liked the moon landing stuff and the ending fight was excessive and great. Shockwave was wasted though.
Transformers 4- I uh... I liked Lockdown.

What a wonderfully bizarre scene showing the origins of the Arnie T800 design. I didn't really like T3 but I adore this scene because of how fucking silly it is.

Nothing wrong with wanting a little bit of excitement in life. I think it's cool that you're honest about it.

Yeah never really been honest about any of that stuff before. I think I've just stopped caring, really. Of course I don't want anyone to die but I find the whole thing intriguing and I enjoy getting involved sending updates to my friends and stuff.

1796
I mean, I'm not sitting here hoping that there's a terrorist attack or a massive disaster, but I actually kind of enjoy the whole experience of staying up late, keeping up to date with events and reading all of the details as they come out. I find it really riveting, like when the Ariana Grande attack happened I stayed up really late reading all of the reports that were coming out.

When the Grenfell Tower blaze happened, part of me was wishing the tower would collapse because it'd be a real shocking moment seeing that happen live on camera as I'm watching. Of course I didn't WANT it to happen because loads more people would die but it would have been quite a sight to see, right?

Does anyone else get this? Is it a morbid curiosity? Maybe I'm just sick in the head.

For some backstory, I've been feeling incredibly shitty lately. Turns out going through a breakup and letting go isn't the easiest thing in the world, and I haven't been happy.

Yesterday I had a shower, and after getting out, I was looking at my foggy reflection in the steamed up mirror. It was one of those weird self-reflection moments that you see on TV or something, and I drew a smiley face with my finger over my own face. Dramatic? Yeah, but I just felt like doing it.

So just now, after having a bath, I was looking at myself in the same mirror while drying my hair. The mirror had since cleared and steamed over again, so my original smiley face had gone, but... now there was another, smaller one slightly to the right of where mine was.

I took two pics from different angles to try and show it, it's hard taking a photo of a mirror with my phone so bear with me.

Okay, I know people here are rightfully skeptical, and I am too. I'm fully aware of paredoila and similar effects, so maybe it's nothing. Maybe it's just parts of the mirror that has un-steamed or whatever. It still looks like a drawn face to me.

I did think it could have been my dad that did it, but he always complains if I draw on the mirror or car windows because it takes longer to clear, or something. I even asked him if he'd drawn a smiley face on the mirror and he said no.

Part of me is hoping it's my dad, but the other part is hoping it wasn't, and this is my own little message from someone who's watching.
If, if, IF it wasn't him that did it, I think it's kinda nice. Do spirits pick up on people's feelings? Was it someone watching over me, giving me a smiley face back?

Sorry if it doesn't look like much, but I thought I'd share.
