Played a game. Turned it off. Maybe I'm just not in the mood.

go as the duality of man
The nightman on the left, the dayman on the right.

The rape scene is gonna go down really well.
It's not a rape scene

An erotically charged hug, then

I have a habit of testing out when I can and can't shoot my gun

-Am I able to interrupt my reload by shooting?
-Am I able to interrupt my sprint by shooting?

Ammo gets wasted this way.

I feel like we should discuss how bad the cover art is

Like, it's just Shepard, Miranda and Thane doing an action pose. Doesn't really instill any sense of sci fi wonder in me at all.
It does reflect the change in the series itself at that point, though. ME1 was closer to Star Trek, which used the crew as a vehicle to explore different ideas, themes, and fueling the sense of discovery. ME2 is closer to the J.J. Abrams films, which focus more on the characters themselves. It's a smaller, more focused game and the cover reflects that by making the characters the primary component of it.

Spoiler
It does suck tho

You'd think for a game that focuses so much on squad building, they'd put more than two on there
You work in squads of three, and showing off a larger roster would give it an inaccurate larger-scale feeling.

Maybe, but would have still been nice to have more of a sci-fi epic with a memorable cast feel like the first game did. From ME2 onward it began to slip into the more generic type of cover, ME3 is even worse.

You take more precautions than I do. I keep about ten of everything until I exploit money making methods and buy 99 of everything.

From FF6 onwards I've started making sure I have at least 20 of everything.

The only reason I take 20 is because I usually have more than ten, and have to round it up to the nearest even number so why not twenty

Jesus do you freaks actually use your phones in public?

Yeah but don't exactly go round shoving it in people's faces either.

it's still pretty noticeable tho

How very very awful

I'll change it immediately

i mean to each their own

i used to have anime stuff as my wallpaper, but then i started seeing the beauty of natural landscapes

which is exactly why i have the opposite of that rn

I'd probably do that

If I didn't have a habit of getting pretty heavily into whatever game I'm playing rn and plastering it everywhere

I always try to have a certain amount of items just in case something happens where I can't use curative magic. Usually there's ways to exploit getting money early on in the game anyways though.

I never spend money on anything no matter how much easier it would make doing things or how much I already have, because I'm more focused on filling my coffers than getting cool loot.

>Calling ME2 "filler"

It feels like it. Not that there's anything wrong with that though, I just think it feels like a gap filler between the major shit that goes down in 1 and 3

I rarely buy any items from shops in RPGs because I figure that I need to get good enough to not need anything.

Glad people seem to be enjoying, didn't know many people here liked Mass Erect. Hopefully my review of ME3 isn't too divisive lol

me2 best of the series

i'm glad you brought up cerberus being in me1. i replayed me1 a few months ago and i didn't realize cerberus was established before me2 til then. like you said they were just sidequests but it really was an "oh shit" moment to me

I can't imagine most people who played ME2 3 years after the first would remember some nonessential baddies from a sidequest. Probably noticed them more when they played ME1 retroactively though.

Are you gonna do all the Mass Defects including Andromeda?

Only the ones I've played

I have the same thoughts. It's my favorite of the trilogy. Did you play Andromeda? It felt like a chore beating that game. I liked the lore they set up. But compared to the others it felt like it was wandering around big areas with lazy mission design and not much story.

All the negative buzz about the game put me off a bit. Have no desire to play it

The best Mass Effect game
Eh, that combat does a hell of a job dragging it down.

I find it strangely endearing.
For me if you're going to review something you need to hold it up objectively for what it is and what the game is trying to accomplish, along with comparing and contrasting with games around that time that did the same thing. No amount of personal love should affect that.

The review is how I personally feel about the game though.
Fair enough

I feel it's important to be honest about this kinda stuff and not come across as a robot. I can see why people would hate it but I enjoy it
