Guys stop saying shit like "be prepared to [blank]"

It's better to not setup expectations at all. Every time.

And potentially die and lose save data.

I know he's been saving a lot but still.

Get ready to prepare yourself.

Prepare to get ready.

Remember to save often. Especially before or during the Sniper Wolf fight.
I save every time I get to a new area. RPGs with sucky save systems taught me well.

Good, be prepared to button mash like fuck.

The bit in The Mummy when the scarab beetles go into the guy. That part scared the shit out of me.
Starship Troopers' gore freaked me out too. Seeing guys get ripped apart was eeech.
The Mask scared me too, I didn't even see the film but his green face was horrifying.

How does the Psycho Mantis battle work on PS3 anyway? On PS1 you have to plug your controller into port 2.
If you push the middle PS button it brings up options and you can reassign controllers to port 2

Is there backtracking and stuff in MGS1

Heh.

Ha!

Oh, Lemon, you have no idea what you're in for.
ugh

And just wait until Sons of Liberty. Get used to that Strut F Warehouse, you'll be seeing it a lot.
It hasn't been that bad so far. Much more straightforward than MG & MG2.
I got the Nikita missiles and headed to basement level 2 to get to Emmerich's lab, and called it a day.

It's pretty fucking great so far. Kojima just loves outdoing his previous efforts doesn't he?
My one complaint is the strangle/neck snap - It's finicky as hell, and is literally the only reason I keep getting caught.

Ocelot's boss fight was pretty fun, and so was Raven's (which was mega easy once you get right up close to his tank).

Have you gotten to the Cyborg Ninja yet?
Gray Fox?
I've gotten past the part where he cuts Ocelot's hand off.

Oh yeah, he did show up before Ocelot, didn't he? He's my favorite character in the series.
He shows up after the Ocelot boss fight and cuts his hand off

What bit are you on now

This is the only MGS thread I see, so I'm posting this here.

Pretty big difference. Console version looks so washed out. I hate to think what it looks like on Xbone (probably the same as PS4).

I'm doing my best to keep the MGS spirit alive, but when MGSV is out I'll most likely be glued to my TV so I'll leave the MGS posting to others

Ditto being a failed Mew clone is my favorite theory. It makes sense.

"You're the Lord and Savior in the eyes of those that live on the battlefield."

That's why you'll have to read this sermon yourself.

My friend just bought the HD collection, so we're going through them in chronological order.  Movement is clunky as fuck.

Order of release is better. The story will unfold better and you will get to see the gameplay improve. Don't know why anyone would suggest to play it chronologically.

11688
Excuse the shitty scribbles but I'm no good at drawing tiny things but I think I improved it quite a bit

So I just managed to Platinum MGS3 again, the hardest one was probably those damn Frogs. Seriously, the ones on the bike chase were fucking annoying. Did anyone else who played it manage to shoot them all?

Probably Froakie. But Greninja is only really good with it's hidden Protean ability.
