Jesus, you're twenty? You look younger than me (or at least, my age.)

Anyways, I'm sure The Phantom Pain will make a fine gift. Enjoy it, Boss.
Thank you I'm sure it will

Wait how old are you

Happy birthday to me.

Have some cake.
Is the cake meme flavored?
No, the cake is dank. The icing is memed.

huh, I was considering something similar... as an MGS newbie. Start with MGS1 on PSN, get the HD Collection, then play my neglected MGS4. Should I do it?

Alternatively, I could hunt down the PS2 versions, but then I'd miss out on Peace Walker because I ain't gettin a PSP
Honestly, I don't think you're missing much with Peacewalker. It's a PSP game so going to it right after 4 would be jarring. Lack on controls and all, and it's SO easy.

You might be better off sticking to cutscenes on youtube.
Oi how dare you. Peace Walker is gr8 m8. Doing the missions and building up your staff with Mother Base is cool.

I assume you can take it off?

Yeah I'm guessing so, I rarely see it in the gameplay vids.

it kinda looks shopped in on this picture
I agree, but it might just be the quality of the actual pic. He definetely does have it in MGSV

Can I have a nice Mother Base without it getting invaded?
I won't be using that

Y'all are some motherfucking bitches

Fine. I'll mop the floor with your ass(es) in MGO come October.
I was like, literally the worst MGO player ever in MGS4. I will most likely suck at it now but we'll see.

People didn't accept my friend requests because of my sloth emblem :(

On my current character I'm NCR because I like all the military stuff.

I made myself look like Big Boss who has somehow ended up in the Mojave, so he sides with the NCR to built up rep and get supplies and arm himself.  I'd like to think that after he helps them out he takes over and does a better job.

Is anyone good at making gifs? I'd love a gif avatar of Big Boss walking down the hallway with his face changing.

Give me 5 minutes.

I can crop it for you if you want.
Yes please <3

Do you want the same proportions as your current avatar?

What took you so long?

loljk here it is. I got bored and assumed "yes".

Thank you so so much. I originally planned to have it as the Ground Zeroes one then change it over time until release, but what the hell this is better :D

Glad you enjoyed MGS1. It's the best in the series but the first 3 are nearly interchangeable in quality, IMO.

MGS1/3 > 2

imo

It was a little while ago. He made a video in his car where he was talking about girls, or something. I really can't remember.

and watch the 2005 version.

I daresay you're the first person in history to recommend the original FF over any other movie.
Yeah, it blows my mind too. Before Ghost Rider: Spirit of Vengeance, I would have said the same thing about the first Ghost Rider movie.

Ghost Rider 2 was ok

Wtf, movie? I was actually enjoying the first half of the movie, I actually found the characters pretty likable, but then it just cuts to a year later after they get their powers and the movie just goes downhill. Also Dr Doom was shit, why was he suddenly super evil and had a giant portal and shit? WTF?

I don't even regret watching it, I do enjoy picking apart bad movies. Has anyone else here seen it, what did you think?

Rhen Var Harbor in Battlefront 1. That map was awesome.

Not if you were playing as the republic.
Probably my favorite Battlefront 1 map. Pushing through the ice cave and getting that command post outside was fun. It's not impossible to break through

« on: August 14, 2015, 06:00:54 PM »
I made this thread because I just watched Hot Fuzz again for like the 100th time and I'm still noticing things here and there.
Like when he's fighting Skinner at the end, Skinner trips and crashes into a little model of Somerfield, the shop he owns. Then later on, he trips on a little model Somerfield truck.
Also, all the NWA members have surnames that end with 'er'

Also, Kojima said there will be some inconsistencies in The Phantom Pain so don't worry too much. It happens.
