Two Wolves, Two Bears, a shit ton of hedgehogs and sheep, and a wide variety of birds.
There's an animal conservation platform that you can't access by foot, you get the chopper to take you there.

That's what I'm thinking. I have the CE disc, and the cutscene at the end sort of resembles the scream.
But Big Boss isn't bloody. He isn't in Africa. He doesn't have his huge horn. He doesn't walk over dozens of burnt people. There's no vulture.
I can go into detail on what I saw if you like. Not sure if you've seen what the chapter was going to do...
I'm reading a reddit thread on it now. Would have been nice to play it

Spoiler Yeah I can kinda see how Big Boss seems more like a fuckhead now. He essentially used one of his own guys as a human shield to die while he went off to do his own thing. No wonder Venom goes off the deep end. I have a sneaky feeling that tape he left him was to make him think that he was special when really, he's just using him.
Spoiler Not to mention that they essentially brainwashed a human being for absolutely no good reason. Like, he was made into Big Boss against his will.

The more I think about it though, it doesn't actually bother me that much. Sure, I was really excited to play as Big Boss again and see how he goes bad, but Venom Snake seems like an interesting character and we do KIND OF see BB as a manipulative bastard. It's just a shame we didn't really see a buildup to it or a payoff. Hell, even some more tapes on it would be nice.
I don't agree with the decision but I think that complaining about it too much will only make it worse. We've already had like 3 games to play as Big Boss, this is something different.

That's pretty much how I feel.

Yeah, great line. One of the few things I enjoyed about the ending.
At first I was like "What the fuck? That's stupid. I want to play as Big Boss, not this fuck."
But then I realised...
Venom Snake > Big Boss. It just seems pretty fucking selfish for Jack to fuck off and leave Ahab with all the responsibilities. Kind of character suicide, IMO.
At least Ahab doesn't have a choice, and actually has a good reason to be pissed off. And, he looks cool.
But just imagine Hayter voiced Snake in Ground Zeroes, Kiefer was the medic, and then Hayter voiced Jack/Ishmael in The Phantom Pain.
I would have shit myself. Missed opportunity.

Spoiler Zero was trying to redeem himself the whole time and reconcile with his old friend, and Big Boss ended him thinking he was still just a tired old monster who never realized how much harm he caused. It's rather heartrending.
Spoiler MGS4 already established that, though.
I hate how MGSV paints Big Boss as the "good guy", though. He's not. Peace Walker was supposed to establish that, after he felt like The Boss betrayed him. And MGSV was supposed to show us his fall from grace as a good guy.
Spoiler Remember how we all thought MGSV would show his descent into villainy? I'm still wondering why he turned bad, it doesn't really explain it. Why was he at Zanzibarland, picking up where Venom Snake left off?

Here's how I like to think things went down:
Spoiler The year is sometime between 1985~1994. Diamond Dogs's Mother Base has been known as "Outer Heaven" since the late 1980's. Venom Snake, or "Big Boss" as the world knows him, has been mostly going slowly crazy as the effects of his psychosis take their toll.
The real Big Boss is ready to come out of hiding. He sends Ahab a tape, labeled "From The Man Who Sold The World", explaining everything from the plane crash in 1974 until now.
Venom Snake, a tortured man already on the brink of insanity, finally snaps as he realises his whole life was a lie. What was once an attempt to create an Army without a Nation is now an all-out sprint to Global warfare.
Big Boss, who already knew about Outer Heaven's nuclear capabilities, informs Ahab that if he doesn't remove the nuke, he'll regret it (which is why Operation Intrude N313 is on the back of the cassette -- it's meant to be a deterrence. This sparks the event known as the Outer Heaven Uprising (Metal Gear 1).
Big Boss sends his own son, Solid Snake, into the battlefield knowing full-well what he's up against. He wins, and Big Boss goes onto form Zanzibarland with Gray Fox.
That does make sense. Shame Big Boss didn't get to hear Zero's tapes.

Some thoughts On Eli Spoiler I was confused earlier when the test results came in and they turned out negative. Now it all makes sense, he is Big Boss's clone, not Ahab's. Ocelot Spoiler talking about self hypnosis is a nice nod to MGS2 and beyond. Though he said that he would need to make himself remember eventually, at what point did that happen? Huey Spoiler Huey's suicide by drowning may have some roots in him being exiled by boat, I guess it makes sense for him to kill himself in a similar way he was exiled.
Also, what was that about Strangelove putting The Boss's code into Hal? Didn't quite understand that bit. Parasites Spoiler I guess these are the new (old?) nanomachines. They explain the Cobra Unit's powers, except maybe The Sorrow's. Volgin too? The Third Child Spoiler Did he burn down his home village with The Man on Fire?

Turns out, you get the horn by doing the bad decisions in the game and having low heroism. And when it is at its lowest point you will get permenantly covered in blood.
