So Venom doesn't find out the truth until the 90s when Big Boss sends him the tape?
Spoiler
I'd assume so, going by the Outer Heaven logo you can see reflected in the glass and the Operation Intrude tape
Spoiler
Dang, poor guy. When is Kaz/Ocelot's call at the end? I'm guessing it's sometime after he wakes up.

I like playing as DD soldiers instead of Big Boss when I replay missions and pretending I'm being sent on super duper top secret missions

What are those weird lines that appear on the screen when you advanced technology? I noticed it a few times

I really liked The Rock. Bay's best film.

Why can't we call in a chopper, get in, and fly to somewhere else in the map? You can do it at Mother Base but not the open world. Why not? Seems like a poor gameplay choice imo.

Actually tempted to record some MGS reviews with my own thoughts. What do I need?
Written reviews are easier (unless you hate writing, I guess), because all you need is to extrapolate an opinion over all the primary facets of the game, but video reviews are a little bit more costly—both monetarily and time-wise.

Ideally, you're gonna need a good microphone (any will do as long as your voice can be clearly heard) and a capture card to record game footage, if you desire (I've never had one of these, so I couldn't tell you which one to get). Then comes the editing software. Audacity is a must, and for the video, I always tend to use WMM... <_< If you want something more higher-end, I can't really recommend anything that you wouldn't pirate, which I don't condone, so... Google-fu.

Speak clearly and enthusiastically. Make sure your script is concise and well-written, and that the game footage aligns well with what you're talking about (if you want to talk about a specific part you thought was annoying, for example, make sure to include footage of it on top of your commentary—this reduces your need to describe it yourself, and gives the audience a clear visual to go off of). Try to shoot under ten minutes, unless you really just have a lot to say.

Don't say shit like "rate, comment, and subscribe" and shit like that. People will subscribe if they want to.

That's all—you don't need anything fancy. Personally, a pen and paper is all I need. While playing new games (and old games too), it's important to take notes as you play, and maybe you can fit them in somewhere. If you're recording game footage, it's always important to keep back-ups of it, in case you lose it.

Alright I may give that a go when I'm back in uni. Might crank out a few written ones first to get in the feel of it.

Oh hey, I guess
Spoiler
it was Ocelot that killed Miller. Not just some random assassin like the novel stated.
Makes me feel a bit better about it.
wait what? Why???

Spoiler
The final conversation kinda hints at it. They talk about taking different sides and Ocelot says one day one of them is gonna have to kill the other.

It used to scare the shit out of me as a kid. Especially the bit where it gets burned. Was it even in the comics?

You sure it's not there? It's below where the MGS1 skin is

Yeah, 100% sure.

How many side ops/dispatch missions have you completed?

I've done about 57 side ops so far but I don't think that has anything to do with the skin. I really have no idea why you don't have it!

I really have no idea. The requirements are R&D 40 and complete every mission. Are you sure it isn't there in the costume section?

Yeah, just checked. R&D team is level 49, I've completed every mission not labeled [EXTREME], [TOTAL STEALTH] or [SUBSISTENCE].

I haven't finished all the deployment missions, though. Could that be a factor?
