Deci made his own thread like a day after this one was made and turned it into a total shit show
Actually I didn't. I legit wanted to pay my own respects since he was a good guy. The rest of you got frustrated for no real reason other than the fact that I made a fucking thread about it.
You want to remember a person you make threads about them, threads of who they were. I'm not saying spam them all over the board but it keeps the memory and discussion of them alive.
Clearly that's something nobody here understands.
I don't think a discussion of somebody necessarily needs to be kept alive, I'd rather let them rest.

I was looking to go into graphic design (Logos, business cards, web design that kind of stuff, maybe one day branching into animation)

I think maybe you aren't looking into it enough. Take what you can away from what you're seeing. There's a reason people are taping Sims to the wall.

it's better to inject it with something that can actually be used in life, and HnS games have always been notoriously bad at that

how to take a loss
practicing combos helps with memory, dexterity, creativity, and critical thinking
the game also has a strong social aspect, feeds my thirst for competition, and gives me something to strive to get better at
Competition is wrong tho
not when it's over video games (generally)
humans are competitive by nature, so better to concentrate that energy into something harmless than something harmful, like physical sports
The stress from competitive video games is anything but harmless.
