Did it start off as a joke? I mean did people just buy it and play it because of the novelty of having an actual farming game?
Now it has an actual full price release on PS4 and Xbox, it reminds me of one of those internet memes that are intentionally bad but then end up being used by a newspaper or sold on tshirts or something.

So I might be getting a PS2 soon and I plan on replaying my old favorites and then I remembered there were lots of good looking games that I might have tried briefly on a demo, or not at all.
So does anyone have old favorites they fondly remember, and reccommend? I've been thinking about trying Maximo.

I just started it and I'm liking it so far. Josuke is so weird he's awesome. The Stand has an interesting power and design, too. If you're just watching the anime you're mising out on like 3/4 o f the fun Also, hooray for easter eggs.

Just thought I'd share my start and any ideas and suggestions welcome. The story follows Captain Coolguy(?) and his spaceship crew as they travel the galaxy to have fun and take down wanted criminals. Captain Coolguy was a member of the Space Patrol who failed every exam and was kicked out, but he decided that he didn't want to be a lame ass space cop anyway so he sets off, stealing a uniform and modifying it and blasting off in a space taxi. When he crash lands on a desert planet, people are sent to check the wreckage and search for survivors. Not wanting to give his real name, he quickly makes up a new name made from some letters on various bits of wreckage around him, coming up with COOLGUY. The rest hasn't come to me yet but I only started drawing doodles for it. He doesn't kill the criminals he catches, instead he sends them to retirement home where at the end of every story they will sign in and mull around for a bit in the waiting room. I liked the idea. It's still up for change, but this is all I have so far. Still in the planning stages. Cap and the crew  More crew  Retirement home crew (so far)
