Not to me, I dropped off after Ignika really and barely paid attention to the next 2 years and kinda did for the last year. So, hah!
Mata Nui was a giant robot and they all live in him.
Every one in Mata Nui is glitch. They weren't supposed to be sentient.
Nobody really dies, they just get sent to the Red Star, but it's broken.
Matoran are just made, and the Turaga and other Matoran are aware of how and when they're made.
Romance can't happen.
How do the live inside Mata Nui's giant robot form when Makuta took it over? Or is it Giant Robot #2? Why not live on that other world?
And yeah, that's lame.
Alright. After Makuta took over Mata Nui's body and Mata Nui found the smaller prototype giant robot, they fought it out on Bara Magna, and then Bara Magna and it's two other parts were brought together to rebuild Spherus Magna, and then all the people lived happily ever after or some shit. And Karzahni was killed, but I don't think that story was ever finished.

They rebooted the franchise because 90% of the fanbase hated everything from 2004 and beyond and the other 10% were retarded. So now we get a sweet new story that's entirely fantasy but as a compromise the toy designs are all shit.
So far the story isn't much better. Honestly there was a lot more potential with Hero Factory, but they screwed that up big time.

I dunno. I always liked the Lime Green Toa of Air (Lewa is Jungle now. Fuck you Lego).
Oh no, it's not lime green. It's the new "Green Lantern" green. It's ever so slightly brighter than regular green, but just enough to be too different.
But 2007 had to be my favorite year, and I've been around since the beginning.
Oh
But still, it's Lewa. Lewa is great.
He really is, and I love his build. I kinda wish his new mask looked a bit more like his first, but it's still a nice design, I think. I just can't wait to revamp him, now.
I don't like the new heads. They don't hold the masks very well.
