Men are physically capable of multiple orgasms, it does require a good amount of practice, conditioning and starts with the realization that orgasm and ejaculation are two separate events. Two separate events that (for men) commonly occur simultaneously, but that don't necessarily have to. Once that is understood and experienced, then the practicing can begin and the individual can learn how the two interact and how each can be...... influenced.
As others have mentioned, it can be..... extremely intense, even overwhelming to the point where the person experiencing is feeling such an intense physical and personal reaction that there is (to one extent or another) a loss of self-control, a shift of awareness (your brain goes into a mode that most people don't commonly experience) and deep emotional exposure. Due to that "vulnerability" (which isn't the right word, it is hard to accurately put into words, but it is a profound exposure of one's entire self) the event is best experienced (or practiced) with two participants who deeply trust, understand each other and are willing to work together on the shared goal.
Seems really tricky though. I'm pretty decent at nutting and then being ready to go again/just keep going, but I've never climaxed without blowing my load.
It's not really that hard to hold it in... It's like how you stop yourself from peeing.
