To use an extreme (yet wholly unrealistic) example that easily illustrates the point that I'm trying to get across.
Obama is a dirty muslim that wants to exterminate all white life on the planet.
Where is the middle ground?
The middle ground in that statement is that the people who believe that don't trust Obama who are ill informed. The middle ground being that Obama needs to show he is in fact trust worthy and that the nay-sayers need to give him a chance. Obama can't go doing all willy-nilly expecting people to accept everything he does, nor can those people assume that he is an anti-white muslim.
See, middle ground. Effort from both sides.

Obama's polcies have nothing in common with being muslim or wanting to commit a white genocide, so telling them that they're right to believe that he is one does nothing more than pander to them in an effort to spare their feelings.
That's not compromise. That's you being scared to tell them the truth and treating them like they're mislead children. And treating someone like they're a mislead child is just insulting.
First of all, in no way did I say that these peope were right. They can believe it if they want. Obama's side just needs to prove that he isn't a muslim and earn their trust, and the other, even though they believe it, need to at least have an open mind. Middle ground. And what does and what does any of this even have to do with Fallout? Stop trying to pull a Verb by being extreme.
