I got something. My mother doesn't respect my uhh talent?.. as a real profession, or what have you, and thinks an oil portrait is something i can "just get done with", even though the guy paid $150 for it. She's an old fashioned workaholic who'd rather spend her life earning a living that she forgets to live.

You do commissions for oil paintings?
I was asked to do one for a guy she works with. He does a suicide prevention charity, and he asked if I could do a painting of guys who took their lives. I told him to just donate the money to the charity, cuz i couldn't accept money for that. Pluuusss it's also still being worked on because I've been super busy with sculpture and photo the past semester. Long story short, as long as I can make people something that will make them happy, yeah.
Good on you.
How different is it to do oil paintings when compared to different styles? Like does it take longer and is harsher or?
Sorry, I've just never met someone who does oil paintings
I personally like oils best because of how long they take to dry, which is good and bad. But I'm really meticulous when I paint and need to blend all my edges, which oils are great for. But they're a bitch to clean up. But'll I'll admit I'm not very good with abstract painting, and generally need some kind of subject matter.
Like this was all oil, with only a deep red, a light turquoise, and white.
That's phenomenal. How long did that take? Weeks?
That one in particular was a pain because of finding two colors that would work together. I want to say... three weeks max, but I'm leaning towards two.

It really seems nigh impossible to get a summer job as a college student. I live in a pretty business heavy area in the tri-state area of Pa, New York, and New Jersey, and it's very rare that I'll see people my age working. I went to a Wendy's a week ago, and saw they had a help wanted sign (not that I could work there) but all of the workers had to be between 30 and 50 years old. Heck, even at both the Micheal's and Petsmart I still see the same people I saw over winter break and last summer working there. I get the same woman an the register evertime I go to buy cat litter and feeder fish. It blows my mind how we're supposed to find seasonal work these days.

And sometimes I find myself standing in the stairs With eyes so blank and unsure Realizing this is not where I want to be And not where I want to go

Incomplete painted shit with overpriced shit droplets
Theyre gonna have to come up with lots of gadgets and such to make such a bland setting good
Nothing short of a new engine can fix the current terrible engine and floaty gameplay though, unless they go back to 1.5

And Big Boss has a big nose, if I'm remembering correctly. But with the polack nose I imagine, I'm p sure it's him. Oss says he looks average, but I feel like that's a bit generous.
Is it really that big
