I've been working for almost seven moths and still struggle paycheck to paycheck, and that's with my mom also working full-time. Like when I hit the deer that $250 really set me back. And I'm not frivolous with my money either. Over one paycheck alone goes strictly to bills, the rest goes to gas or groceries, like water and ground turkey. I consider myself lucky that my SUV was totaled, otherwise that $500 repair cost would have fucked me.

Seriously though, if you can find a decent job to pay for it, then by all means. LA sucks though, just a warning. it's a dirty, nasty city.
Good luck though, maybe after you get established and then citizenship you can move to a not shitty state. I lived very well in Utah, and I could have, if I really wanted to, bought a house making 12 dollars an hour.
Lol no I'm from Pennsylvania. Where I'm looking at in California is Torrance. Seems like it's a bit nicer than LA, plus the job market is better than what's here in this shithole

People often get an hour for lunch so 8-5 minus lunch hour = 8 hours a day.
